There are 5 in a can, no tails or heads. The texture is firm and resembles sardines. Has a slight salt after taste. Price is to high.

They are a worthy option for sardines, but try a few tins and try one before a more aggressive purchase. The fish is "drier" than I anticipated.

Great mild taste and nice a firm texture. I may like these more then sardines. I'll be buying more.
