This ice cream scoop was amazing at first. It goes right through the hardest frozen ice cream effortlessly. It's solid, and has a nice feel to it. Unfortunately, within the first few uses, i discovered this was made of plated cheap metal that started corroding. The metal is actually pitted and the plating is bubbling up around it. I've only used this about a dozen times, but i'm growing concerned with the metal flaking off into my ice cream now.

Works as advertised... Will cut thru hard and tends to ball the ice cream. Best one that I have found after years of trying.

This is not only sturdy, but has an excellent shape. It is ideal for small containers of frozen deserts.

This scoop works much better than the Sumo that I ordered or the inexpensive Kitchen Aid that I had purchased from Ross's. The Sumo scoop seems to have been much more solidly constructed that the Fruzen, but the engineering credit of the scoop itself definitely goes to the Fruzen.

Ok, I have 3 ice cream scoops and I need to throw away the other two as this is the best. I have weak hands and scooping out frozen ice cream is made easy with this scoop. Would highly recommend.

Best scoop ever, I’ve bought 2 metal ones with the separator and they’ve both broken and didn’t scoop as well as this one. The shape and handle allows you to scoop easily and comfortably and no issues not having the separator thing to get the ice cream off
