Undamaged and assembled without problems: Good quality and value for money
With so many reviews stating damaged items with packaging in good condition I was very much aware of the gamble in ordering, the only saving grace was it being fulfilled by Amazon in case of returns. the packaging was good and after carefully opening the box (just in case of re-packaging) all sections were undamaged. I can only guess that it depends on the courier who delivers to us or the delivery to amazon depot, but with the amount of damaged packages even now should be investigated. anyway the item: As mentioned by other reviewers there is a metal trim that you could miss if not careful, this is stored at the back of the base unit and should be removed ready to be used at the top of the back panel. all other items are clearly bagged and/or labelled including each item having it's code stamped on it. the instructions are pictorial but without written guidance, so take your time looking at the picture and component for each stage and you will find it reasonably easy to assemble. it does suggest 2 people but I think this is just for the lid fixture which is the hinge part and does require 2 people, but the rest is easy enough for one person assuming reasonable DIY skills. there is NO pre-drilling needed as suggested by some reviews, the screw holes are clearly marked and the screws are self drilling and there are quite a few of them so would suggest an electric screwdriver. The back panel (two section folded piece) is a little fiddly to get in the side panels as it bows in the middle where the fold is but once one side is in it becomes a little easier, note it states the fold slot should face inwards as shown on the instructions so check this before hand to avoid having to take it out again. all the rest of the assembly is relatively straight forward if you take your time. NOTE: When it states to be placed on level ground, this is true as if particularly uneven the doors will not line up properly making it hard to close the doors and the lid, I had prepared a level section for it but the area I used for assembly was not as level which is where I noticed the issue. if you do have uneven ground look at packing sections up to get it reasonably level. after assembly as mentioned by others it is a little flexible on the side panels which gives the impression it is flimsy but once you have it in position it is sturdy enough if not moved around often, suggested tools: electric screwdriver, screwdriver medium size and level ground. overall I am very pleased with delivery, quality and value for money, if not moved around often this should last several years but as with anything plastic try if possible to keep it out of the sun as over the years it will become brittle. Even with all the damaged on delivery issues I would take the gamble again as it is a good product. I hope you found this review helpful, if so please give me a tick, if not please leave a comment, thank you.

Strong, waterproof and great quality
We’ve got a couple of these Store It Out Max garden storage cabinets and they’re certainly the best ones we’ve seen. At the same time I also bought a Keter De-Luxe Storage Box which isn’t up to the standard of this one, but there is a big price difference. We’d seen the Max at a number of places and the colour seems to change depending on the store. Costco had it as all brown, Homebase was beige with a green lid and Amazon’s is beige with a brown lid. We preferred the brown lid so chose Amazon, who were also the cheapest. The Max was delivered intact, which I note a few reviewers saying it came damaged. It’s a big heavy parcel and I can understand a few getting knocked about. Once unpacked there are quite a few pieces but the instructions are clear and concise and I was able to build it in about 20-30 minutes on my own. It does suggest having a second person to help put the roof on but it’s manageable. All of the parts fitted together nicely and the finished product is very sturdy. It takes two people ideally to move it around the garden so unless you have a helper do try to build it close to its final resting location. The latches and bolts are all very good and with a decent padlock the whole thing is very secure. The only note against it would be that the back panel is not solid plastic like all other panels, but a thinner corrugated plastic. Most importantly to me though is that after a few months of British summer downpours the Max has been completely waterproof. One of ours stores our BBQ, charcoal, kindling and logs and they’re all protected from the elements. The other Max we have stores two large sized wheelie bins, the lids of which open as you lift the lid of the Max by a connecting metal chain and hook. It’s a very impressive store which I have no doubt will last many years.

A good value, practical storage solution with only minor drawbacks
We've bought two of these storage bunkers for our garden, and they definitely have a lot positive going for them: - they're pretty good value for money - there's lots of storage space inside, and it seems quite easy to customise this to your own needs by adding shelving etc. as required - they seem quite sturdy, and the hinges & hasp have managed to withstand a fair bit of windy weather over the past few days without causing any problems - we found that they were pretty straightforward to build, though it's important to pay attention to the instructions as once some of the pieces are 'snapped' into place (the doors in particular) they will be pretty much impossible to take apart. So don't put the doors on upside-down, for instance... The only negatives are fairly minor: - ideally, you need a good flat piece of ground for them. One of ours is on a bit of a slope, and as a result the hasp mechanism which keeps it closed takes a bit of persuasion to get into place when closing it. The second unit is on perfectly flat slabs and there are no problems with this one at all. - although the contents have remained perfectly dry so far, the lid retains some water at the sides when it's raining, and this then runs out of the lid when you open it up. Depending on the wind direction this can end up blowing the water into the container. It's not a massive problem, but it's worth being aware of it. Those minor niggles aside, we're quite happy after several weeks of using them!

Good value, sturdy and high capacity garden store
This store arrives in a number of pieces and required basic assembly using only simple DIY tools. Despite this it took me (working alone) nearly 2 hours, however with a second pair of hands this would have been considerably easier. Despite being manufactured almost entirely out of plastic this store feels very sturdy and has withstood quite a lot of use in the few months I've had it, showing no signs of wear so far. The price I paid of £100 is competitive and this is an ideal option if you have a smaller garden or do not want a full size garden shed. Inside I have comfortably stored garden games, a lawnmower and strimmer, garden table and chairs as well as a few smaller items, still with space for more. Alternatively you are able to use this to store your wheelie bins, using the included chains that attach to the roof of the store - a very handy addition for those wanting to use it this way. Other reviewers have made shelves to install into the store, and this is facilitated by the pre-moulded brackets in the side panels of the store. Another real positive of this store is that you can padlock/chain the lid and doors separately or together. Good for some, ideal for most I would imagine. I have used a security cable and padlock for mine, costing only £10 from Screwfix. All in all this is a well designed and, thus far, flawless garden store and is a perfect alternative to a traditional garden shed.

Keter Outdoor store.
We received the very large cardboard box well within delivery dates. Came in usual flat pack form . All the contents were intact and no damage to the parts. There was a large plastic, very sticky, poly bag containing the hinges and small loose parts, screws etc which was a little difficult to open, I would suggest small pair of scissors here to carefully open when checking contents! The Keter store was easy to assemble but you do have to read the instructions carefully, I found it easier to keep referring to the pictures by setting the parts as they were shown in the diagrams, look carefully at the sections because the part numbers are not easily legible and tucked away in different places blending in with the colour! I also kept the large cardboard box opened out on the ground to assemble the Keter store on - worked a treat! When putting on the hinges you do need a second person to hold the lid whilst screwing in position, this is illustrated by a second shadowy figure in the instructions but not until you get to that particular illustration nearing the end of construction, be careful not to screw the hinges in situ too tightly, we spent a good 15 minutes trying to work out why one hinge was not closing properly ! (It's always something simple causing the problem! ) Having said all that, we are very pleased with the end product (do double check finished dimensions of the store ) it's a good sturdy store which accommodates two of our wheelie bins with a little room to spare! so far no problems, will probably buy a second for use in the garden .

The BEST Bin Store Ever
Where we live the bins have to kept in a fairly exposed location and sometimes get blown over, so I bought this to help shelter them. The fringe benefit was to make the front of the house look tidier since we were issued with new garish purple coloured bins for our general waste. There would be space for 2 normal-sized wheely bins (240litre?); as we only have one of these for our recycling and a smaller one for general waste it means I've also got space to fit in the food waste bin. Bonus. The kit feels quite flimsy but it goes together really well (and easily) and so far it has stood up to 6 months of variable weather, including some very strong winds so it's tougher than it seems. I think this product might be a bit expensive for what it is at normal price, but I bought it on Black Friday so got it at a good price. ~~~~EDIT~~~~ It’s now November 2018 and the bin store is as good as new. 3 years of sitting outside in all winds and weathers (in NorthEast Scotland where it can be a bit bleak sometimes) and it’s still like new. If I could give it 6 stars I would!

A very good product despite the negative reviews!
Once I had sifted through the many reviews of this product, I decided that this was the product that I needed to replace my rapidly deteriorating wooden shed. The product arrived on time and in good condition. It is at this point I should point out that a lot of the negative reviews are down to problems incurred during delivery such as damage in transit rather than a review of the product itself. In total, it took 2 of us approximately 2 hours to assemble, The diagrams were fairly straightforward to follow so long as you study them carefully. We checked that we had all of the components and set to work. The fact that all the screw were all the same helped! A few things to be aware of: *Make sure that you have this standing on a level surface. *When screwing down the lid pistons(?) do the back screws first as you will need to lift the front of it to get access to the back screws. *You don't actually need a drill or electric screwdriver but it will definitely help. Whilst there are not any pre-drilled holes, where you need to place the screws, they are well indicated. Just make sure that you have lined up the holes correctly and take your time to make sure that the screws go in straight. I opted to use washers in a few places but that is up to you. *One person could assemble this on their own but 2 people will make it easier. *Remember that this product is plastic so do not over-tighten the screws. The product is fairly light but I found this an advantage as we were able to turn the whole product around and over and this made it easier to fit some of the screws. Once the container was filled, it was very sturdy. The hook and chains are a nice touch if you are storing your bins in here in that the bin lids will lift when you open the container lid. Overall, a very good product in that it is well made, sturdy and good value for money!

Good value for money and well constructed.
The package arrived a day earlier than stated and carried into the house by a friendly delivery driver. There was no damage to the box and the contents were in top condition. This morning, as it was a nice sunny day we decided to put it together, we are both in our 60's so it was handy having a second person to help out, it might be a little difficult on your own. After we checked all the parts were there, we proceed to follow the instructions carefully, 'Read twice then act once' is good advice, take your time and do it in stages. As it turned out, the job was very easy and took us about half an hour to assemble, the only tool required is a Phillips type screwdriver, but take my advice and use an electric one, 41 screws using an arthritic wrist does your gripping power no good at all and your cup of tea will certainly end up over you, ask me how I know, I learned my lesson the last time I hand screwed a cabinet together, my cordless drill is worth it's weight in plastic and metal..... The cabinet is strong and goes together well, we bought it to store garden tools and mowers in and I envisage it lasting a long time, our other two similar outdoor boxes hardly show any wear and tear after 5 or 6 years of being outside, I've given it 5 stars as I can't fault it, just one thing, the lockable bolt requires a padlock with a LONG shank, not the little short shank ones that are 'Often bought together' with this product. The shank on those is too small to be of any use, get yourself a decent long shank one. The photos show what you can get inside this box, we have a hover mower with grass box, a wheeled cordless mower, a garden shredder, a lawn vac and shredder, a strimmer and various spades, hoes and other small tools, at last I have my garden shed back as a workshop, I definitely recommend this product. *****
