Energizer LR44/A76 Alkaline Batteries, 1.5V, Pack of 4

What can you say about a pack of batteries? They all work as intended, look to be genuine, and were delivered on time. Would buy again when I need more.

I bought these as they are the same brand as the original batteries used in my Bank's card reader. The reader stopped responding and I assumed the batteries had run out . These were the best price I could find and as the bank uses them in their readers, I thought they must be good. They arrived quickly and I put them in the reader but it still didn't respond. This was really annoying as some purchases cannot be made without authorisation using the reader. In the end, I ordered another card reader. Both the original card reader batteries and these new ones work in the new card reader. They are all exactly the same in every way so at least I now have a brand new set of batteries on standby. I cannot attest to their longevity, yet but if the bank uses them then they are good enough for me.

These batteries were to replace the originals, residing in a Sharp Scientific Calculator that I bought in 1979 and have used almost daily for 43 years. If these are as long lasting as the ones they replaced, I'll have had a congratulatory telegram for longevity myself over a decade before they need replacing (they'll outlive me!). For the money, these are phenomenally good value taking into account the frugal drain my calculator seems to have.I presume Amazon equates these batteries as being used only in remote control units (a not rated element, above), sorry Amazon but my Sharp Calculator stipulates these exact batteries and doesn't moonlight as a TV couch potato's energy saving device.

They are batteries. They work. They're well packaged. Very little else to say about them. They're fine.
