A great watch for a great price
I was looking for a cheap tough waterproof watch to wear surfing so i know I've still loads of time left in the water! Well, this watch is absolutely great, does what it says, no frills but perfect for what I wanted. It's all plastic but the strap is like the stuff rucksack straps are made from with a normal watch buckle to secure it.The face of the watch is easy to read and looks really good and the bonus of having the indiglo night light at this price is great too. I suppose the only thing not so good is the loud tick but that doesn't bother me at all although some might find it too loud. It's just a watch tick though....I wear this watch when working, at the gym and when surfing so it gets lots of use and spends a lot of time in and under the water and is like new. I'm really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, light, tough, waterproof watch. Great!

Nice, budget-friendly wristwatch
I was looking for a cheap wristwatch in order to replace a low-quality one purchased through Ebay. My requirements were the following:1. To be analogue2. To show the date (day only)3. To be water-resistant (I am not diving but swimming a lot)This watch fulfilled all requirements and on top of that features the Indiglo functionality with illuminating the plate in order to show the time in the dark. The band is nylon but is not hard to the skin and seems really durable. Timex is a well-known brand of watches, so I was surprised by the watch's low price (something like 25 pounds). The watch is extremely light (you can hardly feel it) and seems to be scratch resistant too, but it is indeed too noisy. I have absolutely no issue with it ticking during the night as I do not wear it while I am sleeping; however, in business trips (where I usually stay in small hotel rooms) I can hear it ticking all night! Surely no problem for me, as I am a heavy sleeper. It may not look fancy to some people, but is an excellent casual watch which I expect to have with me for the next years.

An excellent watch
I have owned this watch since June 2011.Plus points: Very clear / easy to read face and date window. Good luminosity and the Indiglo night light is great. Very comfortable strap that will fit someone with a very small wrist (like mine. !) and yet expand to accomodate monster man wrists. Keeps excellent time - I haven't needed to reset it since I purchased it.Minus points: None that I can think of. I guess some some people might not like the grey plastic case and khaki strap, but I love it.All in all I have found this a very, very good day watch indeed - nothing complicated, it does what it should, it's reliable and excellent value for money.

Keeps the time well
Keeps the time perfectly even when I'm bouncing about the place doing outdoors stuff. Less time messing with the phone. Nothing fancy but a good, solid, watch to go on your wrist.

Tick a Tick a Timex
Only bought a few Days ago so unable to comment on water resistance..But it has a lovely clear face able to read at quick glance..with a precise second hand movement..Date Calendar..plus the Light up function of Indiglo is a welcome bonus..The Strap seems robust in a nice Olive shade with a Rubber hoop to secure..It also has a screw down back which is unusual in the cheaper Watch brands..Water resistance has not been tested but I have relative confidence in this area as the Watch has been manufactured to a high level..So far is keeping great Time and has not missed a beat..The winder itself is protected by a well designed and shaped resin giving added protection for everyday usuage..Buying on a genuine Sale price is always nice but even at full price is still a Bargain and am hoping for a few years of service as part of my small collection of Watches..But in the meantime I would highly recommend this Timex Expedition Watch as you get a lot for the small outlay..Thanks..

Affordable Watch with Basic Functionality, But Lacks Quality
I recently purchased the Timex Expedition Camper Men's 39 mm Watch, and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it does its primary job of telling the time, but on the other hand, the overall quality leaves much to be desired. The watch face is easy to read, and the 39 mm size is suitable for most men's wrists. The design is simple and unassuming, which I appreciate in a watch that is meant for outdoor adventures and camping trips. However, it is essential to note that this watch is only just worth the cost, as the quality of the materials and build is not up to par with other watches in the same price range. The band feels flimsy, and I am concerned about its durability over time. Additionally, the watch's casing does not seem to be as sturdy as I would like, making me question whether it will hold up under more rugged conditions. In summary, the Timex Expedition Camper Men's 39 mm Watch is an affordable option for those who need a basic watch for telling the time.

Great Beater.
The media could not be loaded. Nice light weight watch made of sturdy resin with a decent ( for the money) nylon strap. Easy read face and luminous hands that really are easy to read at night. If you want more night vision there is an Indiglo light.Touch of yellow on small numbers is attractive and despite having far too many watches this will be worn.Good action setting day and date. The cardboard packing inside the box is worthy of an origami puzzle so be prepared to be puzzled.Good budget every day watch, recommended.
