TimexYouth T790814E Easy Reader Pink Leather Strap Watch

This watch seems to have been excellent value for money given that the quality seems very good. It has a pretty, soft pink leather strap and a very clear face. The second hand is pink too and the backlit function means that it is easy to tell the time even in poor light. The only thing that would make it more attractive in my opinion would be for the case to be a little thinner.I bought it for my five year old granddaughter and it fits her wrist well without a need to make additional holes in the strap. It also fits an adult (female) wrist so would be good for much older girls too.Everyone who has seen it, including my granddaughter thinks it is a really lovely watch and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classic design.

Bought this watch for my young sister, she is 9, and she loved it.Its dainty so it looks perfect on her petite wrists. I found that many watches for young girls either looked tacky or too big for small wrists, but this one was a good medium, looked grown up but was still small.Great for any young girl.

Lovely little watch, easy to read and looks grown up. I would happily wear this watch so great for adults too. Great value for money. Timex, a classic brand.

Bought it for my 5 y old daughter - We didn't want another 'princessy-thing' but still we wanted something girly. We were very please with the watch. And so was she. This is elegant and still solid enough to survive school days. The light-screen makes it even more special. The number are big enough to be read easily. We are buying it again for our 8 y old niece as a Xmas gift!

perfect size for my 7 year old, well made, clear numbers and wands. Too bad about the synthetic leather. And too bad Amazon still hasn't changed the discription. It's misleading and plain wrong.But a nice watch for it's price. I'll find myself a real leather strap.

* * * U P D A T E * * *We unfortunately seem to have had some difficulties with this watch. This was my daughters first watch and she loved it. Unfortunately though, it disappeared at school....so my daughter saved up her pocket money and bought a replacement. She was gutted when within a week, the watch stopped working. We thought it might be the batteries so replaced them and it was only then that I read the other negative reviews about the watch and realised that we had the same problem. We are currently trying to send it back to Timex under guarantee but am not particularly hopeful. Its a great looking watch but be aware when purchasing that it obviously has its issues!!!Original review.....Bought as a gift for my daughters birthday. She loves it - possibly a little more than other girls watches but really pleased with purchase.

I bought it for my 9 years old daughter and she absolutely loves it. very good build and sturdy to be used by children. The dial and pink strap looks good. it is very easy to put on by a child and it glows when the key is pressed. Kids love the glow and keeps pressing the button but still the battery life is good.

Have bought this watch for my 9 year old granddaughter for Xmas so don't know how she feels about it therefore i can't give it 5 stars but to me, it is worthy of 5 stars. So grown up for a little girl. I know she will love it because i know her. She is just learning to tell the time so i wanted a 'no nonsense' watch that looks good but also does it's job and i'm certain this one will. It looks like a very small adult watch. I am very pleased with it.
