The spatula included can be a bit awkward, leading to potential mess if you're not careful. A dropper would have been more practical. At times, the primer can feel a bit sticky initially, but that sensation fades as it dries, leaving the skin feeling fantastic.Overall, the NYX primer works well for dry skin, creating a smooth base and keeping makeup intact for hours. I use a light moisturiser, then this primer and then a tinted moisturiser as I don’t like heavy foundation. It is an excellent primer. I’ve noticed my cream blusher doesn’t fade as much when I use this. What I really love is it has no silicone so you don’t get those horrible little balls of makeup that you get with lots of primers. It looks gloopy but it sinks into skin quickly and in my experience does not dry skin out. With this, makeup does not sink into lines and lasts all day.
