Easy to apply, great results - far cheaper than Loctite!
Like a few other reviewers I bought this for my knives, specifically the pivots of my balisongs but for some of my other knives too. Anyone who has used a balisong for a while will know the joy of having to constantly tighten the flippin' (see what I did? Somebody stop me) thing up as it works its way loose. Having once stupidly tried normal superglue I realised I needed the proper stuff. Unless you have the dexterity and speed of a ninja then standard superglue on those tiny torx bolts is an absolute nightmare. You not only have to thread the bolt super quick - no mean feat - you also have to get the bolt to the exact tightness before the glue dries solid. It's possible, but thank god I had superglue remover on hand.Loctite thread locker is the weapon of choice for many but after looking at the price for such a tiny amount I saw this product and decided to take punt figuring they're pretty much the same thing and this bottle contains far more for far less. And the punt paid off. I was a little conservative with the amount I used at first, I put a tiny dot on the bolt and screwed it in, only to find it worked loose after an hour or so of practicing tricks. Better than no threadlock, but still not the semi-permanent solution I needed. I realised the gap between the male and female threads needed filling so I applied it fairly liberally around the bolt threads and screwed it in. This product gives you the time to get the exact tightness you want and once I'd left it for a while those pivots were going nowhere. They say full strength in a day but it's ready to handle much sooner, I gave it half an hour. It was easily and accurately applied using the nozzle and a little while later the job was done. This is the medium strength stuff and I'm glad I went with this rather than the permanent type because medium on bolts is plenty strong enough, there's no way they're coming loose without a concerted effort. It's also good to know that if I do need to change the hardware I can.So all in all its full marks. It's quick, effective, and a fraction of the price of Loctite. I've locked the pivots of a few of my other knives now and it's worked a treat every time. The fact that it works so well with balisongs is testament to its effectiveness. So that's it, if you need threadlocker then look no further.

Excellent.
I bought an office chair whose bolts kept coming loose. I saw the price of the market leader and tried this instead. It works perfectly and is excellent value.

Inexpensive Loctite 243 replacement.
I bought this threadlocker for the same use as Stuart Campbell, securing the pivot screws on my knives. Even if you have to adjust them at a later date the threadlocker retains enough screw to pivot friction to still be useful in stopping the pivot from loosening and potentially falling out. This was bought as my first deviation from Loctite 243, in all the specs it looks to be the same. In use it is easier to get the right amount in the right place. and still retains the same quality as the similar Loctite product, the value is off the chart, 50p more for 8 times the amount.

Dies what it supposed to.
Was cheaper than the branded stuff, and seems to work just as well.
