I was worried about this color just because of my fair skin, but it wasn’t too Barbie pink. I actually had to re-order this product because the ‘glue’ used for the glitter was dried out in my first order. Using this product was such a breeze! I wore it to a friend’s 30th birthday where we drank everything from wine, beer and shots - it didn’t budge once. And I could kiss my husband without him worrying about getting glitter on his face.A lot of people came up to me saying they loved my lipstick and wanted to know where I got it from. If you’re hesitant to buy because you’re worried about transfer, trust me it does not budge!Also I LOVE the lipliner color it’s such a great nude, I wish it was bigger so I can wear it on its own.To remove I used one of those reusable make up cloths… it normally gets everything off. However, the lipstick put up quite a fight, so I also used some oil and that really helped.

I LOVE this glitter lip kit. The pink looks like it's going to be a pale baby pink from the online photos, but really, it's a gorgeously subtle shimmer to add to any color lip you're rocking.I personally don't like the liner - it's very dark and muddy colored on my skin. Instead, I use my favorite shades of Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink and add this on time. They're a winning combination.Texture: you can feel a little grit, but not at all like sand on your lips. Only if you grind your lips back and forth together, will you feel the glitter. I did find this product to be drying, but for the 4-hour stay I get from it, it's so much fun to wear for any fun special occasion! I always get compliments when I add a small dab of this shimmer to my makeup routine :)

I have never put on a product just to take it off so fast. If you want glitter on your lips sure this will do the job, but if you want the same results just get lash glue and loose glitter. The smell of the bonding glue was disgusting and it was not going away. Applying the glitter was a bit iffy with the amount of times I needed to dip it back in water. After letting it dry (which it never fully did) when I would close my mouth my lips would still get stuck together and the glue would begin to lift and peel. Also the glitter makes it feel like I stuck my lips in glue and dipped it in sand. I thought if I added a lip gloss over it, then maybe it would make it feel more smooth, which it did for maybe 3 seconds. I couldn’t get over the feeling of having dry lips which made it completely unbearable to keep on but you have to have dry lips before putting it on so that’s unavoidable I guess. And don’t even get me started on the removal process 😭 it was horrendous and messy, it was like peeling a layer of dead skin off but it didn’t come off nearly, It came off stringy and even after scrubbing my lips with a towel there was still some left the only method that worked for me was using a cleansing balm and a towel to scrub off as well as tweezers to get the rest off. Way too much pain and effort for something that didn’t even look that good anyways. Hope you guys can change your formula in the bonding agent and maybe try making the glitter a lot smaller and not so rough.

I loved the idea of this but the texture and smell was weird. I feel like it didn’t last long, either. It came off easily and wasn’t the easiest to apply. Maybe others had a better experience but I struggled a bit. It didn’t function how I wanted it to so maybe I need to try something different. It wasn’t HORRIBLE but it wasn’t what I was hoping for, considering the price.

The color of the glitter was not as pink as I expected based on the product photos & the description. The lip pencil that comes in the kit is a very soft mauve pink. When it came time to use the Glitter Lip Kit for a Barbie themed party, I used a hot pink liquid lipstick. Then I added the glitter. I will say, the bond/glue smells SO BAD! The glitter gets messy when applying, but it stays in place. I ate pasta, salad & breadsticks at the party. Drank 2 canned sodas & 3 donut holes. The glitter stayed put. I got compliments on my glitter lip look. The look I was aiming to achieve, was achieved. I have previously purchased the Burlesque Red glitter kit from the actual website for Stay Golden Cosmetics & it’s gorgeous. I’m thinking I’ll get a purple glitter kit next.

I’ve been using this glitter lip kit since they started and it’s my favorite! I put up different pictures in different lighting, but the pictures don’t even do it justice.As long as you apply it correctly (which is actually really simple) it will stay on :)There’s a tutorial on their site that show how to put it on so it stays on.Basically you put the gloss bond on first and wait until it turns clear- then put on the glitter.I usually use chapstick like crazy, but my lips don’t dry out at all while wearing the glitter lips. Love love love 🙌🏼

When I say I was excited to get this lip kit going on a cruise wanted to wear it didn't receive the lip liner that was post to come with the kit. Tried it didn't like the outcome it was not as pretty as expected not for me.

The media could not be loaded. Love this product! I usually put a matte lip color under but you don’t need to ! Lasts all day , you can feel it I don’t recommend putting the glue close to the corners of your mouth or where the lip is usually wet ! A little goes a long way! Use the applicator brush , sip it in water before sipping into the glitter container !
