Great fun to put together!
Bought this for my son on the off chance that he would enjoy it as it includes 'Real' tools for cutting the pieces and what not. I've got to admit, this thing was a blast to put together! 'Sawing' through the tubes to create the right length etc was real good fun and my son got a lot of satisfaction from 'making' this thing. Obviously, once you're done with putting the models together then you're pretty much done with the product but it was a real fun and entertaining few hours pretending to be engineers on this one.

Good product, HOWEVER, no way a 7 y/o will do this by themselves. Having said that, was great couple hours of fun doing it with my 9 y/o boy. He was quite amazed how you create very nice model out of foam tubes and few cards. Highly recommended as fun activity with your kids at home, perfect for rainy days...

This was the second time we ordered this as my son tried unsuccessfully to do it first time round. Instructions very difficult 2 understand. 2 adults and a child couldn't build this

Good kid, advanced for 7y.o., black tubes not long enough in the kit.
The set would definitely be a challenge for a 7 year old but more than suitable for slightly older children. In all the sets received the lengths of the small black foam was shorter than required to do all the cuts which is disappointing as it is a small cost component in the grand scheme of things.

Great fun, good quality and bigger than you expect!
Good quality with good instructions. You have to give it some thought as to where you are cutting so will require concentration from kids doing it. If you cut wrong you will be stuck.Saw is surprisingly sharp so watch that! End product is way bigger than I expected it to be!

Dune Buggy
Nice to have a different construction toy once in a while and even better for our grandson when he found out none of his friends had one he said it made him feel special. It is nice to stretch them so with plans in front of him and a little supervision from Dad we will soon have a Dune Buggy.
