Craftamo Artist Paint Brushes Set - Watercolour, Oil, Acrylic and Face Paintbrushes - 15 Artist Brushes with a Paint Brush Holder/Pop Up Stand Included

I bought this brush set after doing vigorous research online, and lets face it, theres a lot to choose from! However, I couldnt be happier with my choice. The brushes arrived very quickly after ordering. They came securely wrapped with no damage to the package. The black, simple case that holds the brushes is brilliant quality and zips open. All brushes inside are very good quality and again are sleek and simple. For the price, I wasnt expecting the quality to be of the standard it was. The brushes remind me of some I have seen in craft shops with triple the price tag, and if your a student, like myself, you want good quality brushes that allow you do a range of styles as an artist, but also carry a 'easy on the bank balance' price tag. The craftamo brushes arent gimmicky in any way. Handles are sturdy and bristles range perfectly from soft to hard depending on the job of the brush. Ive left it a few weeks before reveiwing to see whether the bristles stay in place and do not pull out in my work, a very annoying trait that I've found with a lot of other brushes I've bought in the past, but nope! No annoying strays! The brushes are also light and well balanced , not heavy in the hand when doing watercolours. I like them so much, I've ordered the other set craftamo supply, the fine detail brushes! All in all, I cant recommend enough. If your a student or free lance artist or even someone who enjoys art as a hobby, these brushes will do the job that more expensive brushes claim to do.

Quality brushes, I love them, recently took up art and painting again and needed to replace my old brushes, I brought a "great value and quality" (as advertised) set of brushes that were a poorly made wast of money and did me no justice, this time I shopped around and came across this set of brushes and can honestly say they are the best quality brushes I've owned and weren't stupidly priced and they arrived fast. I was surprised at the quality of not just the brushes but the actual case they come in, i was expecting it to be a average thin case but it is a really well made case, very solid and strong so the brushes are well protected and a lot bigger than I was expecting, the brushes are truly beautiful, they are nice and long, very light but well balanced, and the bristles are nicely formed and very soft too (my wife wants to pinch them for make-up brushes). I'm really enjoying these brushes, I paint acrylics and I've put some through they're paces and found no loose bristles they clean out nicely and keep they're shape, really impressed. Now I just need some smaller brushes so I might just treat myself to their fine detail set, would be rude not to, ; )Great quality product craftamo, off to paint now, BOB.

These brushes have exceeded my expectations - I was recommended to try Craftamo by a friend who couldn’t sing their praises enough, she seemed absolutely thrilled with her new set of Art Brushes, which really convinced me to give these a try.I’m the type of artist who usually pays £10 - £15 per brush, so firstly, Craftamo, what a bargain!You get 15 quality brushes in a set, nicely presented in their own carry case. I was impressed with how they looked alone, never mind how they performed!I paint using watercolours and I’m pleased to report that the results I achieved were excellent, easily matching the performance of my more expensive brushes, and I’ve found them to wash really well, even after repeated use.I’m so glad I was recommended to try out Craftamo by my friend, and I highly recommend you do too. You should have no doubts what so ever in giving this set a try, you will be converted in no time!

Always tricky to know the real quality of a product until it arrives but with these set of brushes I wasn't disappointed.They come in a well made sturdy storage case.There was no loss of hair, the metal casing and handle are well put together.There are a good range of brushes, filbert, angled, a fan a rigger amongst others, suitable for watercolour, acrylics and oils.All in all a great set of brushes and great value.

Just got back into watercolour painting again and its a nice set of brush sizes to get me started back. Read all the reviews and went ahead and bought them, They arrived quickly and were well packaged, They looked good and well made so was very happy, I washed them in tepid water only, let them air dry and washed again once they where dry,I had already stretched my paper and started to paint. it was there my happiness ended, I was using the flat size 6 and the size 5 angled brush to paint a landscape and they both shed hairs.All the other brushes were fine so I just hope that the two that shed hairs have shed all they are going to..

Ces pinceaux semblent de qualité correcte mais l'un d'eux a les poils complètement pliés sur le côté.

Die Pinsel sind sehr schön und sehen hochwertig aus. Alle sind ca 30 cm lang (einschließlich der Synthetikhaare gemessen) und die runden Pinsel werden mit einem Schutz (Plastikröhrchen) geliefert. Die Mappe sehr fest und gut verarbeitet, zudem ist sie fast so schwer wie alle Pinsel zusammen.

I bought these to use with my acrylics and they are wonderful. The handles are long, roughly a forearms length. The bristles are soft, much softer than what I am used to for synthetic bristles. However this was not a bad thing and showed strokes much like my other brushes though mixing on the canvas was slightly more similar to rabbit hair bristles than I was expecting though they are in no way comparable.I used the brushes to paint a large 3'x4' painting on canvas and they held their form well the whole time. The put up well to slight abuse and did not take injury from being left wet overnight. Most importantly, not a single bristle fell out! This was my main concern when buying these brushes. I was also pleased that there were several different brush styles included in the purchase. The case is quite pleasing and serves as a nice carry case and drying stand.
