GYS Welding Chipping Hammer/Professional and Forged Steel, Black

This little chipping Hammer is perfectly weighted and balanced. I have used it to chip ghastly yellow paint from the front and rear of a building. Arduous work but very rewarding when you remove 10 coats of paint. This is the second hammer I have purchased due to the first one’s head snapping off but it did serve well so I am happy to buy another. Perfect and well priced.

Just the job for cleaning welds. Recommended.

Purchased to remove slag on some arc welding I was planning on doing on my narrowboat. Found it also very useful for chipping old bitumous paint, that had dried like a hard resininous varnish, and for chipping rust back before grinding ready for welding.Doesn't break the bank and does more than the job originally required. Standing up to this remarkably well.

I've not long ago moved house and have been doing my garden in the good weather. However, the house had not been lived in for some time and the spade was having none of the digging into solid ground. So I bought this (small hand held pick axe) and it works fabulously for my requirements. haven't and won't be doing any welding though.

Very light weight but better than one supplied with amateur welder kits

I like this welding chipping hammer tbf. It does a great job chipping away the dross/slag. I've used it a few times now and had good results. I like one end has a sharp point while the other has a flatened chisel type end on it. Really impressed for the price and I recommend the sellers..
