Justin Boots Women's Classic Western Boot Narrow Square Toe Shoe

I had been looking for months for my first pair of cowgirl boots...going from website to website, studying detail after detail. I finally discovered these on Amazon and instantly fell in love with the look!I read somewhere that cowboy boots tend to run large in size. These being more of a pointed toe boot, I ordered my usual size 7.5 and they are plenty roomy but not too big. Super comfy with thin or thick socks. Having athletic calves, I worried about the overall width and getting them on and off. Ample room to tuck in jeans and my feet/calves slip right in.The overall height of the boot is perfect and I adore the heel. I really didn't want a black sole/heel but was worried I'd be slipping all over the place in these. Having the rubber on the bottom of the heel provides just enough traction. Clever! Not an issue.The leather has a vintage look to it, very classic and honestly, just perfect! I can't believe how gorgeous they are!I'm glad I FINALLY decided on this pair. They are so comfortable and stylish. Glad I ordered when I did...my size sold out quickly. If you're on the fence, GET THEM!

I could t have envisioned a more perfect boot! Bought to wear in wedding as a bridesmaid and got so many compliments. They are casual enough to wear with jeans and shorts, but dressy enough to wear with skirts and even a bridesmaid dress. I Usually wear 8.5, I have narrow feet, and high arches and based on sizing chart and reviews I ordered size 8 and they fit great. I live in montana so I am usually wearing thick socks so I wanted to make sure I had enough room for thick socks in the fall. They are narrow enough that even with thin socks they didn't slip on my heel. They are great quality, great heel, nice smooth sole so I can ride my horses and not worry about treads keeping me from being able to slip out of the stirrups easily. Best boots I've purchased in a long time.

I really wanted to buy a pair of western boots, and I soon found out that this pair was a winner! This is my first "real" pair of western boots, so I did a little looking around online and in stores before I bought these to make sure my money was well spent on a quality pair that I would love. I learned that I would save over $30 on this pair by ordering through Amazon vs. in person at local stores and that I needed to order a half size smaller in boots since over time the leather will stretch and my typical shoe size left my foot slipping around too much in the boots. I wear a women's size 9 and the 8.5 fits me perfectly.A little while before I bought this Justin pair, I had bought a pair of 8.5 Ariat boots. I wore them all over the house hoping to start breaking them in, but unfortunately they rubbed terribly on my ankles even when I put a sock over the trouble areas. I returned them to the original store and tried on another pair of Ariats, which I thought they would not rub like the last pair since the stitching didn't overlap the ankle area. However, they also rubbed against my ankles leading me to believe that the Ariat brand was not going to be comfortable for me. This is when I slipped on the Justin boots and discovered how much more comfortable they were, how much more appealing I thought they looked on me, and later I learned that they don't need to be broke in hardly at all.These boots are absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new pair!

I'm pretty convinced that there is no set standard of sizing for these boots, based on my experience and all the reviews. I ordered smaller, I typically wear a size 9.5, sometimes a 10, and ordered the 9 in these boots. I was so disappointed to find them soooo small and tight when I got them! However, I did read that you need to let them wear-in and stretch. After working on them constantly for about a week they HAVE stretched and fit much better now. But unless you really want to work a while on stretching them and wearing them in (which I recommend but not everyone wants to do that) buy your true size. The leather was/is super hard and not very giving - at least at first, so mine were not "butter soft" leather. That being said, the overall quality and craftsmanship of this boot is excellent; I love the stitching and the color of the leather and the soft leather lining. However the piping is already cracked at the ankles. Maybe that's normal, but I was surprised to see that. My calves are 15" around and I have MORE than enough room in these boots, in fact, almost too much. As a previous reviewer said, due to their height and the width at the top, these aren't boots to wear under jeans but excellent for leggings or shorts/skirts. I looked at Ariat and all the other brands in this price point but they all looked so...well...boring...these had some style and uniqueness to them. Overall these are great boots and worth the very discounted price I'm seeing here on Amazon!

- True to Size - True to Width - Great for Wide CalvesThese boots are exactly as expected. I spent a lot of time reading the reviews and they are spot on. Order your normal size, they are true to size. Also, i have wide calves and they fit perfectly with a little room to spare. In fact, you may need to think twice about these boots if you have small calves. My feet are not narrow nor wide, i consider them a cubby average but the (M) B fit perfectly. Only order the wide if you truly have wide feet. Initially the boots were a little hard to get on but have loosened with use. I really didn't need to break them in like other boots, they were comfortable out of the box. The leather sole was a little slick when i wore them initially, but have more grip now. These boots look great with pants - typically with boots you wear boot cut pants, no flared or other. I don't have a problem with noticing them under jeans. I am extremely pleased with these boots, excellent purchase!
