The NLT One Year Bible (One Year Bible: New Living Translation-2): Arranged in 365 Daily Readings

I have tried so many 15 minute a day bibles,I spent a fortune!Then I bought this.This is the best out of all of them,by far.I look forward to reading it evey day.

Anyone wanting to read the Bible from back to front it is ideal

I bought the kindle edition of this Bible last year, before that I had the hard back copy which went a little more in-depth. I find the kindle edition easy as I can still get in my daily reading when I travel. It’s a great way to get well acquainted with the most important book every written, the manual for life.

This is an excellent 365 daily reading bible in an easy-to-read New Living Translation. I bought my husband one for a present and he loves it and reads it every day!. I also enjoy reading it to my 87-year-old mother and we both find it very prophetic and relevant for everyday living, especially in these stressful times we are living in. To any Christian, it is a great comfort. Highly recommended.

Ok so here's the thing, Jesus said man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Father, my Christian experience tells me that the Bible informs me on how much God loves me, wants to forgive me for my wrongs and how He desires that I may live my life in a way that truly pleases him. I bought this Bible as it's organised in such a way that you read some Old Testament, New Testament and a Psalm and a few proverbs each day, if you read it every day you will have read the whole Bible in a year and as a result if you apply the truth of the Bible to your life you will be blessed!

A good bible to use if you want to read the bible in a year and feel a little daunted by the prospect. Each daily reading is dated with a section from the Old Testament, ie, Genesis, Psalms and Proverbs and then a section from the New Testament, ie, starting with the book of Matthew. The quality of the paper is good for the price, the outer cover is soft enough to lay flat when reading and the type is not too small.

The translation itself is easy to read and in modern language and idioms. Finding page other than the surrent one on Kidle is difficult as Kindle does not recognise books, chapters or verses but only dates. How does one know what date a particular verse will appear.

I followed this for the year about a year ago now, it only took about 20mins a day on the train to work and then finding some time at the w/ends. It is great to know your Bible through and through and this helped towards that also many of the passages seem to connect in ways that you wouldn't normally see just reading cover to cover. In fact I may do this again sometime soon
