Used to cover a somewhat scratched chrome shower drain hole. Stays in place most of the time despite curvature on corner of the shower tray. I think you need to clean pretty regularly to make sure it does not get slimy and go off white. Sobering when you wash your hair, how much is caught by the hair catcher - perhaps you would rather not know! Durability and colour retention (a very pure white colour at the moment) will only be known in time.

Moves when the water falls on it so consequently does not stop hair going down the drain

Have had one of these before and they really do the job. Good suction so they stay in place and stop hair from going down the plughole. They work well with a slightly raised baht plug too.

Actually works better than I expected and my very long hair no long blocks the drain. Does make water run out a little slower but that’s to be expected

I was sceptical as the holes are large, however after 1 use the hair gathers together and collects on top of the starfish. It looks nice in the shower too; mine is a small en suite corner shower and the suckers stick despite it not being flat. After about 6 months of use, it has gone mouldy and black on the underside!

This is a useful hair catcher they only occasional problem (or catch) being that it slides and long hair gets past. However it has been the most useful gadget for the price!

Didn't let enough water through for our power shower so I had to cut extra holes
