I wasn’t expecting the darker color of this sponge or that it would arrive flattened, but after I soaked it in water to fill it out, it was as good as any other natural sponge that I’ve owned. It’s soft and pliable (I use it instead of a washcloth) and the darker color doesn’t make any difference.

Nice and is soft. I might like a little more scratch but I got what was advertised and it is good quality.

THIS was the one I was searching for. This sponge is far more durable than the exfoliating sponge, but it is also softer & not exfoliating - but it does not fall apart as easily as others! The smell is more intense than the other sponge I have gotten from this brand - smells like red tide... but I have it soaking and expect the smell will dissipate in time. It is large, thick and very porous

I bought the large size. It shipped very quickly.It will arrive dry, flat, and smells like the ocean. I recommend placing it in a warm bowl of water with your favorite shower gel until it fluffs up. Then rinse and squeeze it out. Then I LOVE it. Yes this is the luxury sponge you are looking for. Remember go for the large one.

After months of daily use my sponge is still holding up perfectly. For the price I didn't expect it to last this long but it has had no issues. At first it had a sea smell (duh, it's natural from the sea) but just use it a few times to lather and rinse and it will have no smell after about a week. To get it to size follow their instructions and rinse it really good to remove any potential coral. It's very soft and comfortable yet lightly exfoliates too. If it ever does fall a part, I'll be buying another one from this seller.

I would give this product a zero rating if I could. This sponge is a serious health risk. I carefully followed all instructions on soaking and rinsing multiple times before use. After the first use my skin felt a little sensitive so I rinsed and washed the sponge again several times in baby liquid soap. After the second use of the sponge my skin broke out in the worst itchy tiny bumps which I’ve now had for several days. Prior to this event, I have never had any skin problems or allergies. My doctor has now prescribed a corticosteroid to hopefully alleviate the condition but this ugly little ‘natural’ sponge has caused me a lot of misery and costly health care. There clearly is NO quality control over this product. ‘Natural’ does not necessarily mean pure or healthy. Suggest you leave the sea sponges in their natural environment in the ocean before someone sues you.

I was disconcerted when the package arrived and was totally flat! After wetting the sponge (took it a bit of time to accept the water) it swelled up to a nice sized sponge (about 7"x5"). Good dense cell structure too. There are some stiff bits at the ends in some areas...I figure it's some type of an environmental exposure. All in all, a nice sponge!

No need for a photo because it looks exactly like the picture on Amazon. I gave it a 4 on durability because it's relatively delicate. For anyone who is new to sea sponges, they're naturally more delicate than any human-made/designed item - or like a loofah. They're not hard or coarse for exfoliating. They're soft and lovely and the feeling of connection with mother earth can make your heart - and skin - sing.

This one is natural and the perfect size for a 5’11 male.

Excellent, have been looking for this type of sponge for a while. Health stores in my area do not carry them. Arrived real thin and compressed, go thru the documented instructions. This one is a little darker than my last one. Photo of the last one, included, what’s left of it. (It’s the little one)

I absolutely love these sea sponges! I added pictures of 2 sponges 1 year apart. The one on the right (whitest one) is the one purchased February 9th, 2023, exactly 1 year ago, while the one one the left was delivered today. The one on the right was the same color as the left one originally. They are quite large and defer in shape but I absolutely love these! They leave me feeling so much cleaner and I've stopped having random pimples just by bathing with these. Definitely do your own research but I highly recommend these even for occasional bathing with a sponge.
