I used it for a Hawks cosplay! I made really big wings, I used about 7 packages of them (yeesh). But they're very, very soft and durable! The quill bends enough to be flexible, but doesnt break easily. They're pretty big too. I love em, they got here quick and undamaged 💕💕

These feathers are fine, but they are actually a bit darker than the color in the listing photo, so I returned them. The color wasn't really the issue; it's just that I had bought two different packages from different sellers in order to try to match a costume, and both packages ended up being the same color and size of feathers. So I picked the less expensive one to keep and returned the other. The problem is that the label on the package does not have the brand name or Amazon item number, so you can easily mix up similar items when trying to return them. Since these were in the same order as the other set of blue feathers I ordered at the same time, there was no way to tell which were which, and I ended up returning this one under this other one's item number. It caused a mix up and reversal of the return (all sorted out now, but what a pain!). I recommend making each purchase a separate order and marking the package with the Amazon order number when it arrives in case you are trying to match colors with a costume as I was.

My package had a huge variation in size and a lot of the feathers had the quill end broken off. The size variation is acceptable but the broken feathers were unusable for me.
