This is a lifesaver. Save a trip to the big box store.
This works perfect on schedule 40 pipe. If it says "DWV" on the pipe, it will seem too small. I wrapped the bearing surface with aluminum tape to make it fit the inside of DWV and it worked perfectly.It works best if you secure the fitting and hold your drill with two hands. Use low speed

Works great. Pays for it's self with a couple of fittings saved.
I had a 2" PVC 3-way valve I wanted to reuse. The cutter worked like a charm. A replacement 3-way valve would of cost $65.Very happy :)

Worked great.
There was too much anodizing to fit into the pipe so I ran it on the drill with some emery cloth until I was getting less friction. Need to tune the depth of the cut. Worked great. Would recommend.

Will ruin your PVC instead of saving it
The size marking is wrong. Will be too small. Once you realize it there is no way to do it again because the guide won't fit. Tried it on a second PVC and it cut too big. What a waste of time and money and now it ruined 2 pool valves I was trying to save.

Does the job
I returned a flimsier version of this type of tool. This one is well made and does the job although it will drift off centre a little.
