Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna 60 Miles Range, Digital HDTV Antenna, Detachable Amplifier Long Range Indoor TV Antenna 1080P,16.4ft Long Coaxial Cable

My initial expectations weren't very high, because we live in Walla Walla, a small, rural town in South-eastern Washington state, right at the base of the Blue Mountains range. Our house is on a creek bank, with enormous willow trees that seriously effect our cell phone service and, I presumed, broadcast TV signals as well. Our nearest TV stations are at least 50 miles away and we rely on a cable service for our current TV reception. I have hopes of getting rid of our cable box and just getting TV over the internet, and this purchase was a trial run, first step. I am amazed by what this antenna brings in! It took a while as our TV sorted through all of the signals and lack of signals out there in the aether. When it finished, there were 35 HD channels and sub-channels booming in clearly and another half-dozen more that I think were encrypted (pay for view). We get our local versions of ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS, plus all sorts of specialized channels (sports, kids, comedy, movies, religion, and Spanish-language). The picture and sound are at least as good as we are getting from our cable provider, so no complaints about the quality. Strangely, we also get one non-denominational religious radio station. Radio74.

RANGE IS AT BEST 40 MILES

I don't like it! The seller has misrepresented the item, in my opinion. I have bought THREE of these. One mounted to the south side window of the house and receives only eight signals, but not WCJB-TV which covers Ocala, FL and is roughly30 miles away. Another one was mounted to the north side window of the house and it receives eleven signals, including WCJB-TV. I highly suggest that you use the included signal amplifier. "50" miles is very questionable, at best.

I mostly like this antenna. I can't give it 5 stars because I haven't used or seen any others to compare. It does occasionally lose signal for a moment but by and large it does its purpose. I don't watch much TV so I mainly got this to see a few things like an occasional football game or the Macy's day parade. It has fulfilled that purpose.

Not a good connection. How do I get my money returned?

The HDTV Antenna arrived earlier than promised. I have it mounted in the upper corner of a dining room window. It is basically invisible. It took only a few minutes to install it. Considering history past, I am amazed that this product is able to give me 60 channels I never had before. This antenna is an excellent investment and I heartily recommend it

Don't know where the + reviews came from, but I had a totally-different experience. Antenna didn't bring in any channels. I tried using it both with and without the amplifier - same result. Returned to Amazon. Updated October, 2017: it turns out that I have an older analog TV, which requires a digital-to-analog converter. However, even with this converter, I was only able to get a few channels, none of which I was interested in. It concerns me that sellers of this kind of antenna make claims that are minimally-accurate at best. This kind of antenna really needs to be installed on the OUTSIDE of your house! Definitely a case of "you don't get what you don't pay for!"

Wonderful customer service from this company. Know that these antennae are not going to be like cable TV with 150 channels. But I was having difficulty with the first one and they sent a new model replacement and it is working great. They were wonderful at suggestions for improving the reception which was very helpful. Would recommend the product and the company!
