Doesn't work wirelessly with the Soundbar Max
I gave it a shot with a COAX cable and it sounded good. Not as good as a Klipsch powered sub. The benefit would have been a wireless connection allowing me to put the sub in a place near the couch. The Klipsch is in a cabinet. I ended up returning. Sennheiser, fire the product manager for not having this thing work with your most expensive soundbar.

I've now spent over a dozen hours back and forth with Sennheiser sport over this wireless subwoofer in combination with the Ambeo soundbar and it is complete garbage. Relentless connection issues between the soundbar and the subwoofer and this device does not work if your home uses any type of Wi-Fi connection whatsoever. I'm told by customer support that this is my fault because I have a Wi-Fi system in my home which is absolutely insane. I have other high-end audio equipment like a Klipsch home theater audio system in my basement theater setup and I'm very familiar with proper setup and the system is completely and compatible with any type of normal home use. Customer support is incompetent, and please do not put yourself through buying this product.

Disconnected from Ambeo Plus soundbar every 2-3 days
Was so hyped to get one of the highest reviewed soundbar+sub combos on the market and then they worked, the sound quality was definitely better than the other's I've tried (Sonos Arc+Sub Mini, Sony HT-A5000 and sub). The issue was the sub was disconnected from the soundbar every 2-3 days and would require an hard reset of both soundbar and sub. Not worth $1,500+ for that hassle, so I returned both and got a Sonos Arc+Sub Mini and it has been bulletproof reliable. Sennheiser needs to get this addressed for the money they're asking for this audio equipment.
