Nice knife
Nice compact knife. Love the opening mechanism. Not a knife guy. Just bought to open packages and every day stuff. Seems well made and is super sharp. Happy with cost and quality at first glance.

Incredible, value friendly knife after EDC'ing for 1 year
After a full year of EDC'ing this knife, I can confidently say the CIVIVI Mini Praxis is a beast. This isn't just a "budget" knife; it’s a workhorse that punches above its weight class. It's durable, stays sharp, and is a great budget friendly option. I’ve dropped my knife on the concrete more times than I can count and beat it up on daily tasks - yet it remains rock solid. Of course the experience looks beat to heck but it still functions flawlessly. The D2 steel has been impressively resilient, holding a working edge far longer than I expected for a sub-3" blade. Even after a year of abuse and infrequent sharpening - it's remained sharp and plenty usable for daily tasks. If you want a discreet, deep-carry folder that can actually handle being used as a tool, this is the one.

Excellent quality knife
The quality is superb. The handle is nerled to prevent slipping. It’s put together nice and tight. There is no wobble to the blade when it’s opened and it is compact enough to make the perfect pocket knife. The blade is very sharp and it comes with maintenance instructions and a micro cloth for cleaning. I definitely recommend it.

Solid offering for the price
It’s a good beater knife and I use it a lot, although I have minor nits to pick. My copy needs a wrist flick to open when using the flipper. It needs sharpening more often than many other knives that I own. The clip is weak. I made the mistake of clipping it to my tactical belt once and it bent, which to be fair is not the intended use. Inside liner lock is solid, but not easy to close with one hand, but that’s the nature of the beast. The coating scratches fairly easily, but not a problem for me. All that being said, I like the look, feel, size, and ease of sharpening. Overall, the cost benefit ratio is good and for the price it’s almost a no brainer.

Perfect Everday
Its a perfect pocket knife, it light weight, just the right size and sharper than all get out and it stays sharp, easy to flip open, I use it everyday at work, home and camping, very impressed and happy with it.

The gateway drug to budget-premium knives
Prior to purchasing this knife, I had a 10 year hiatus from keeping up with the latest and greatest in the EDC world. I was once a collector of kershaw, gerber, benchmade, and other US-made brands. I believed that budget knives only existed as cheap gas-station junkers. That is, until I got my hands on this thing. I had no idea that knives at this price point could be built with such precision and quality. Beware - once you get this knife, you'll be looking at every other budget-premium offering from Civivi, Sencut, CJRB, Kizer, Vosteed (and others) and will eventually be addicted to getting your hands on all the cool blades you can find without breaking the bank. The form factor of this knife is pretty awesome. Deep carry pocket clip, solid and grippy scales, incredible ergos, and top-notch blade construction. It's perfect as a non-intimidating Mini-EDC that allows you to choke up your grip on the blade choil for perfect cutting leverage. Razor sharp out of the box, ready for action. Flipper is super satisfying and lock-up is solid. Very pleased with this purchase and recommend one to anyone into knives/edc collecting.

steel is staying sharp for months,
For me at least it came really sharp, the blade is actually pretty thin so it is both slicy and light. I have sliced a lot of cardboard with it it is still sharp but doesn't cut paper as cleanly as the day I got it, yet it is still sharp. I bought this because of a project farm youtube video about this being a good buy and was not disappointed. really good snappy detent and flipper action. I am 5'10 and very avarage and can get a great grip on the knife I guess that regular sized praxis must be huge. I haven't tried hard prying or banging it on hard surfaces but I have carried it everyday (almost) for 6 months and honestly still feels like new, pretty solid. honestly good quality I think. only negative is if you want to press down hard at the back spine of the blade it would be uncomfortable becuase the blase is so thin, but if it was thicker back there it wouldn't slice through things soo easily
