Great clippers. With great functions. Bit heavy and not as ergonomic as others. But great product nevertheless

This was a replacement trimmer for a WHAL one I'd been using for years.It appears to be made to the same high standards as previously and is made with strong, heavy duty parts, which is surprising given the reasonable price.It comes with more cutting guides than the last one and can be neatly stored in the included plastic box.I am very pleased with it.

I originally started looking into cutting my own hair after a few bad trips to the barbers. After a few hours of searching I stumbled across these clippers, which I know for a fact have been used on me in barbers before, and have been pleasantly surprised ever since.Packaging:The clippers come packaged in a smart black box that is a good hard plastic with a sturdy clip. Inside the box, as well as the clippers, is a small kit with a range of clip attachments, scissors, comb, oil, cleaning brush and a small cape to keep the hair off.Clippers:The clippers themselves are of a very high quality with ceramic blades, oil to maintain them and a year-long guarantee. They have a heavy feel and have a strong motor but after a solid hour of holding them my girlfriend said her arms didn’t ache at all. The cable is around 3 metres long which means we had absolutely no problems with the cable no reaching anywhere. The ability to change the blade positioning on the clippers for a closer/longer cut gave us the ability to tailor cuts precisely and the trimmer attachment was easy to click on for the closer detail.Gripes:My only small gripes with this product come from the additional extras included in the kit. The scissors feel a little cheap and rub together – like they need an oil – which sometimes made cutting difficult and the comb is a little lightweight and therefore doesn’t work as well with thicker hair. Lastly as mentioned in other reviews trimming attachment feels a little flimsy and judging by the reviews below may break later on.However – that being said – all of the products in the kit are yet to break and as this is mainly a clipper set I do not believe anyone buying this product will be using the scissors, for example, as their main tool.Overall:At the time of my purchase the overall rating for this product is 4.5 stars out of 5 which I couldn’t agree more with – and I would have given it this if I could. Yes some of the products in the kit aren’t the finest quality but they all do complement the clippers and are functional. As people who have had no experience with cutting hair before I can say this set is perfect for amateur - we were able to pick them up out of the box and were cutting within minutes – or those with more experience.

Excellent clippersThis box has everything you need. All the different numbered guards, a gown to go around when cutting hair. There is also a comb and scissors. There is also oil and a small cleaning brush. The added feature of the smaller detailing clipper being attached is a fantastic idea and works amazingly. I love this set and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Very good quality and cuts very well

Nice hair clipper worked really well for awhile but has packed in these only last 18 months its the 2nd WHAL clipper i have bought and they dont last any longer than this one but i suppose you get what you pay for!

I have used my one twice and each time I was not impressed, first time it seemed ok but a little underpowered but got the job done. The 2nd time It just kept losing power and cutting close to nothing, I ended up taking the guard off and free handing it because it was the only way to get it to cut.I'm not sure if I was just unlucky and got a faulty one or if this represents the quality of the product but I will not be ordering from this brand again. If I could return and get my money back I would but sadly the time has passed.My advice maybe I was unlucky with my order but I would make sure it is cutting 100% fine when you receive yours, if not get a refund.
