ABSOLUTELY WORKS FOR ATTACHING VAPOR BARRIER TO CONCRETE FOUNDATION WALLS
If you are looking for something to attach/seal polyethylene vapor barrier sheets to concrete, THIS IS IT. I've tried a couple other double sided putty/butyl tapes for this purpose, but this stuff is by far the best. This tape is VERY sticky. The ambient temp of my crawlspace during application was around 58 degrees and the foundation wall was slightly lower around 53 degrees and the adhesion to the concrete was still excellent. It seems almost nothing will stick to polyethylene, which is why mechanical fasteners are often used for perminantly attaching PE vapor barriers to concrete. For this crawlspace project, I wanted to avoid using mechanical fasteners if possible and EternaBond so far seems to be the answer. It is nearly impossible to pull the tape away from the PE sheeting once it makes contact. I will consider it to be a miracle product if it maintains adhesion/doesn't dry out over time.If you plan to use on concrete I would recommend cleaning (either vacuuming or sweeping) the concrete first. In my experience it will stick to rough and uneven concrete, but the seal is better if the surface is is clear of dust/debris.

Works as advertised.
I used this to repair a tonneau cover on my truck. The tonneau cover is one that rolls up with aluminum slats linked together and held in place by the vinyl fabric glued to the aluminum slats. Unfortunately, the glue dried over time and separated from the vinyl fabric. Couldn't roll the tonneau cover up without it falling apart. I put several strips of this Eternabond double side tape across the slat from front to back. It's been three months now and the tonneau cover works like it is supposed to. Very please with the product so far. Highly recommend.

A sticky-monster - useful for sealing OR adhering
Butyl rubber like Dicor BT-1834-1 1/8" x 3/4" x 30' Butyl Seal Tape is probably better than this product for sealing-down roof-mounted objects on an RV, since it is so insanely flexible and sticky, but this tape is a lot easier to work with in applications that are awkward to reach or otherwise make installation difficult.I have used this tape for miscellaneous screw-hole sealing on the inside of the front wall of our travel trailer to install Murphy fasteners for a "bra" to cover the windshield. A layer of this tape over the screws protruding through the wall, then a piece of EternaBond RSW-4-50 RoofSeal Sealant Tape, White - 4" x 50' on top of that to finish covering the length of screw and prevent the fiberglass insulation I added from sticking to the sealant, and "job done" (and sealed for a lifetime). This product is also great for adhering LightingWill 5-Pack 3.3ft/1M 9x17mm Silver U-Shape Internal Width 12mm LED Aluminum Channel System with Cover, End Caps and Mounting Clips Aluminum Profile for LED Strip Light Installations-U02S5 to the underside of an RV for LED down-lighting. All I had to do was clean the frame with mineral spirits, apply the tape to the LED strips, remove the backing tape, and rub the strip down on the frame - and trust me, it is NEVER going to come off!! Beats the heck out of trying to drill the frame to install the cheap screws and clips that come with the channel strips, which would never "last" in this type of application.

Super Sticky!
My first experience with this product was with a half used roll that someone gave me. I tried to use it as a gasket behind some marker lights. I found it to be incredibly difficult to work with. Cutting it with a razor blade made a huge mess. At that point, I was at a loss for locations on my trailer that the doublestick tape could be used (easily). My second experience was with a roll of my own that was brand new. I had stored it in the refrigerator for a couple days. That made a critical difference. Cutting it was much easier. It would be easier to work with if it came off the roll with backing on both sides, but it comes off with backing on only one side.I used it on my RV between the fiberglass and a diamond plate aluminum skirt. The manufacturer had used staples to hold the original diamond plate in place before attaching molding with butyl tape under it. The doublestick putty tape held the entire length of diamond plate on the trailer all by itself!I still think a double sided taped has limited usefulness on an RV trailer. There are far more uses for the regular, single sided Eternabond.

The Best
If you are locking for a double side very Strong tape, you have found it in this one. Just remember that when you put it down it is not coming up. I put it to metal rails and stuck the rails to My RV roof, so I could fasten down my Solar Panels down and exchange the panels with ease, by undoing the bolts that hold the Panels to the rails.. The rails are not coming off, again I want to say, make sure when you place whatever down, it is not coming up. If you want to get it back up, it is going to take a bunch of time and different methods to get it off and I think there will be some still stuck to what ever......

Nothing Better for Waterproof Seal
There is nothing better existing in the world, to make a waterproof seal, when breaking the integrity of a membrane to add/attach an element. Clean the surface of the substrate (soap/degreaser/alcohol/acetone); mount Eternabond to the flange of your appliqué/device and double the clear strip, so you can pull it out after positioning device [you can't move it once it's adherent]; drill self tapping screws thru the flange of your mount. Work in temperatures greater than 60+ °F and store EternaBond in freezer/fridge, so it's easier to work with at time of application.

Sticks solid
Don't buy the cheap stuff. This is worth the price. The adhesive comes away from the tape fairly easily and the tape does not rip, you have to cut it. If you have ever worked with cheap paper tape and butyl putty, you'll understand. This adhesive alone was probably enough to hold solar panels to the roof. I bolted them down as well, but they didn't budge once the eternabond alone set up.

Easiest way to seal seams and vents on a Motohome
Works like a charm with no mess, just peal and stick to a clean surface and roll out any air pockets. That is the key to an everlasting seal, making sure the surface is clean and no air gets traped between the putty and the surface.
