After tackling an old silver tea set, I decided my old polish just wasn't cutting it. After looking through reviews, I took a chance on this one and I am AMAZED at the results. Little to no elbow grease required, polishes to like new shine( only where you want it to, if you don't buff in the crevices you can keep the patina), no strange smell, a tiny bit goes a long way, and my favorite part is that it pulls all the old tarnish marks out. You know the old marks, where you polish and the old stuff leaves rings, darker spots, or a "shadow"? Gone. Bright as new! Even my newly polished silver ware got pulled back out for a redo because this pulls the goldish tint out and leaves it bright and true silver! I don't know how long lasting it is yet, but I have high hopes. The worst stuff I tried it on I didn't take pictures of before I started in..... Whoops. So I pulled out my husband's old brass/mother of pearl candle sticks. I polished them 3 months ago and it never left this kind of luster ( see the before on left and after on right) and the picture doesn't do it justice! I'm recommending this to EVERYONE! You have arthritis? Guess what? Wipe on, rub in a bit, buff off. Gently. No hurting hands!

MAAS OLISH IS EASY TO USE AND POLISHES MY METALS BETTER THAN ANYTHING ELSE I HAVE USED. I USE IT ON FINE ART SCULPTURE PIECES PREDOMINANTLY AND WOULD NOT TRUST JUST ANY PRODUCT FOR THAT USE...MAAS IS GREAT!

I am on the Altar Society at my church. There is so much brass to polish. Other brands did not clean effectively. A parishioner left a tube of MAAS in a drawer. I tried it and marveled at the ease of cleaning with this product. I purchased this larger can and recently cleaned an incense pole that probably hadn't been cleaned in fifty plus years. The MAAS metal polish cleaned it with ease and restored it to its original shine. Some elbow grease is still required, but not nearly as difficult as with other brands. A little goes a long way. This larger can is cost-saving and I am sure it will last a long time. I recommend this product to my friends and other Altar Society members at other churches.

Couldn't believe I found this size for the money! I've used this for many years and I'm telling you there's just nothing that compares out there for cleaning anything! Glass, any metal including jewelry, it does exactly what it promises! I really don't know why it's not in stores. It's usually kind of pricey for the tube, but when you consider just a touch dose the job it's great. I guess in stores people compare it to the size of other cleaners for the price but that's really unfair since a dab goes so far, Plus it leaves a protective coating so it's several months before it even begins to be any different than the day you used it. Great for just about anything. I bought it in the tube from Walmart for awhile and it just dissapeared from the shelves. I still have the original ad when it first came out in a newspaper clipping cause I knew even then if it did what the ad said this stuff was gonna be really special and it is! Thank God for Amazon!

MAAS Metal Polish is the best metal polish I have yet to use for fine polishing. The luster imparted on gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals is astonishing. Where other rouges and polishes took a lot of work and time, this product cut the work and time dramatically and improved the finished results.I am baffled by the boneheads that say that the product in the metal can is "not the same formula" as the product in the tube! That is utter baloney. This product has the same lavender fragrance as the product in the tube and works just as well. The only difference is the price! The savings is fantastic. The can works out to $1.34 per ounce versus the tube which works out to $3.90 per ounce for a 65%+ savings or $2.56 per oz savings. In other words the 2 oz. tube would only cost $2.68 if priced at the same per oz pricing as price per oz. in the can.

I use this polish on all my interior solid brass fixtures on my sailboat. I’ve used Maas for years and have not found anything that gets close. I have literally hundreds of solid brass handles, hinges, fittings and even a barometer and ships clock. When used in combination with the sealer the brass stays looking new for 6 months. This product still requires some elbow grease but is far quicker to anything else I’ve tried and never leaves even the smallest of surface scratches - nothing but a mirror finish! I haven’t noticed any difference with the lavender that others have complained about. Only complaint I have is the sealer is now hard to find and helps keep the finish brighter for longer.

I've been cleaning my mom's small silver pieces since I was a kid. This is now what I use, because it works and it maintains the patina beautifully. I always apply with a soft dry sponge, rub it until clean. Then I use a wet soft clean sponge and running water to remove tarnish and cleaner. I never touch cleaned silver that is to be stored with my hands, wearing soft cotton gloves I dry the piece with a a soft cotton towel, and set on another soft dry towel to air dry. Then I store it correctly. Silver is a responsibility, if you don't want to clean the stuff by rubbing it, but dipping the piece instead, do yourself a favor and buy stainless!

Love this polish! The price increase from $35 to $50 really hurt - but I still would rather use Maas than any other polish. This will last me a long time - hope it stays fresh.See before and after photos from the metal antique lamp. No other silver polish ever cleaned this lamp. I was ready to sell it until Maas brought out its true finish. Miracle!!
