Why buy an expensive putting carpet if your own carpet works fine...?OK so if I get really into home-putting the ability to create a contoured surface would be quite cool, likewise a carpet that shows the track of the ball. However I'm a beginner, and our floors are also not 100% level as we have an old house, so this gives me all I need. It also stores in about 10% of the space. And 5% of the cost!This is small, light and works great. The lever system is different to the gravity of a hole but the "capture width" seems similar.

Very good my putting has improved a whole lot

Was really surprised at how good this is! I had my doubts about it not being that similar to a real hole for practice and that it might just teach me bad habits. However, it actually works really well, I have put it down on some Astro and can move it around for lots of different shot angles, the ball will even clear the hole entirely if it is going too quickly just as it would out on the course. It’s so much more satisfying than just trying to hit another ball placed a few yards away which is what I was doing prior to having this.

It works well as intended especially given the price. It is very delicate so won’t last if you accidentally step on it. Biggest gripe is that the green coloring comes off very easily and will stain your hand when you hold it and if there is any heavy contact with your carpet

The putting cup was fairly cheap in price but it was just bought for indoor fun.Thought the sides of the putting cup would stand a little higher but it still works.

I remember having a metal one of these as a child years ago and was so pleased to find that the same design is still being produced. This one has a nice touch in being felted. Lots of fun. Tip: if you have a deeper pile carpet then you can vacuum in different directions to create different and more challenging puts.
