These things are so strong even with the little plastic between them. It is very difficult to get them apart. I once got two of them too close together and it was difficult to get them apart without the spacer so be careful.

I made a jig using the head of a carriage bolt on a GoPro camera with this magnet on the other side of it as a tripod mount. Just strong enough but not enough. I'll buy more but they'll be a lot more powerful than these are.

Watch out, these slam together HARD and could give you a serious pinch. They easily break if you allow them to slam together, don't do that!!

Perfect for the project I needed them for

Magnet Strength is 5/5 but to its own detriment. The 1st time I let the magnet click together, one of the magnets broke in half. When I picked up the broken half that fell, it clicked/attached and broke again. So now I will be sending back one full round magnet, one half and 2 quarters.
