Solar tech has come a long way - 2 pack
Wow, these are amazing! Solar Technology has really improved.I wanted some light to illuminate my stairs or yard entrance, but I didn’t particularly want beacons or a landing strip look. These stay a soft, warm, orange glow UNTIL you get close and trigger the motion sensor. Then it turns to white (and not that weird Star Wars Blue most solar lights come in).The white really lights up the area in front of the gate to help people see.I was hoping to find lights to illuminate my stairs, but it’s just too pricey to buy 10+. I don’t have a place to mount them on my stairs (stucco or railing??) so I just laid them on the side of the steps. It worked great, but like I said, too pricey to do one on each step.I see why they cost so much though. Good quality.I’ve already had them up for a month, and all the neighbors want some too. Until they hear the cost. Then they run to that dollar store and get the cheap solar light stakes that illuminate nothing, and die every 6 months.And hey, it’s a 2 pack. Wish they wouldn’t show a pic of 4. Read the instructions and use the pin to turn it on for the first time.I’ve only used them in full direct sun, in sunny San Diego, so I can’t speak for how well they would charge in indirect sunlight or on cloudy days.

I don't really hate them, but wanted to make sure to let you know if you buy more than one pack (I bought two packs, total of four lights) they might not match. The light colors were very different between the two packages. Way too far off to all be on my deck. I gave one set to my mother. Nice lights though.

Amber light then turns cool white
I have two. One may not get enough light and does not light up every day, but they still look nice. It is a low ambient amber light until motion sensor activates, then turns cool white. Not a bright light, but I still enjoy them.

Super bright!
These lights we smaller than expected, but super bright! I love that they're small because they're hardly noticeable going up the steps during the day, but much needed at night. Great product!

Nope! Not worth the money
Not the best product, it isn't very bright, not worth the price. I bought it for my backyard to prevent introuders.
