Backyard X-scapes Fiberglass Painted Mock Faux Well Pump Cover Artificial Rock for Landscaping, Medium, Beige

Really taken with this rock. Actually thought about a larger one. But, when I clicked on the larger one it just didn't look the same. It just stands out. Haven't had it long enough to know if it blows around. So will update if it does.It is a bit pricey but absolutely impressive for a small rock. It doesn't appear that small next to other rocks & love the color. I also forgot to add that how absolutely realistic it is. You cannot tell it is a faux rock at all. Very, very professionaly done in appearance. I have a lot of rocks out there. All you can see is that it is a different color, but it lends accent & will buy another.

This is a solid and realistic and hides our sprinkler stuff perfectly. It is leagues above the ugly box it replaced. I hesitated little with the price, but it makes me happy every time I see it and that’s worth the little extra it cost.

Wanted to write a review to post these pictures so potential buyers could see what the rock looks like. I read reviews that said it looks like an actual rock. So of course I bought it. In my pictures you can see three rocks. The biggest one is fake and you can probably see an appreciate that it is shinier. It looks like it has almost a glossy painted finish, especially in the rain like after this picture was taken. The smallest darkest rock in the middle by the house is a real rock. The rock to the left by the fountain is the rock. I bought it to cover up this pipe repair and it covers this entire thing perfectly. Check it out, looks real to me, I don’t think anyone will ever be able to guess That it’s fake. I’m looking at it now and I’m thinking it’s real, so I’m happy, considering buying more from this company.

Whatever size you think you need, you should probably go up one. I measured my sprinkler box and reviewed the sizes listed on the website, but the way that the rock is shaped (oval) versus the way the sprinkler box is shaped (square) means it didn’t cover the whole thing. For me, it’s annoying, but it’s not a big deal. I was able to use this rock on a different object I wanted to cover up… But I will have to find a something else to cover the sprinkler box.I’m also not too impressed with the coloring, as I don’t think it looks very realistic. But for something that’s going to sit in the back of my yard and not be noticed that much, it’s not that big of a deal. And as someone else said, placing real rocks around it does help.

I got so two for covers over my septic vent pipes in the front yard, they work very nicely and look good. I haven’t had to stake them down - even in big winds they stay put. They look like real rocks!!! I’d definitely recommend.

The Backyard X-Scapes Artificial Rock (Boulder) looks great. My wife and I were really surprised how realistic it looked once we place it under our Japanese Maple tree. It was well worth the $180 we spent. The only negative was the poor quality shipping box. It came in a very thin, large cardboard box which was barely hanging together by the time it arrived. It was amazing that it wasn't damaged in shipping. But, as far as the look of the boulder, I'm very satisfied!

Was just what I wanted, realistic and sturdy. No more unsightly access pipe.

First, the rock is exactly what I expected for color, size and feature. It came quickly. HOWEVER, for how much this item costs, I should NOT have to touch up all the scratches and 'unpainted' areas with a marker. Buyer beware that the the color does not go all the way through this artificial rock. Any dings, scratches, unpainted areas will show white. I recommend you also order a dark brown permanent marker of some type when you order this rock in River Brown.
