I belong to a volunteer group at the hospital and we make fleece frogs for the kids. A friend and I bought these battery operated scissors, hoping to ease cutting the fleece with regular scissors. They work great cutting fleece and our projects get done in a much faster time. It took a few minutes to get used to cutting with them, but we mastered it and the scissors work great.

Absolutely wonderful product. I have not found a limit yet to the boxes it will cut without needing a charge. Exactly as described. Very useful certainly has multiple uses. In todays world of online shopping and selling. this item is a must have and is of top quality

I did a lot of research looking for electric scissors to cut the Amazon boxes. I have arthritic cans and I just really can’t do it with this regular scissors anymore. I watch the films. I read the reviews and I have to tell you it is 1000% perfect. I charged the batteries for three hours. That’s what I took And cut through at least 20 boxes like butter. It was absolutely so easy. I am thrilled with these electric scissors and I’m thrilled that I purchased them. What a godsend they are. They cut very quickly. You only have to hold the trigger underneath when you you don’t have to push a button up on top. So it’s just really gripping the body of the scissors and it turns on it is not too loud. It’s a slight buzzing sound that’s all and the blade is sharp and went right through those boxes and I cut them into small pieces. Absolutely love this purchase please don’t hesitate you will be happy.

I was struggling with carpal tunnel syndrome, and then recovering from the surgery for the condition. Standard box cutters were putting too much strain on my wrist and palm, and they would get dull over time, becoming harder and harder to use. I saw a TikTok video for something similar, and thought I'd give it a try. I picked this one because it's one of the few with the 8V battery (higher voltage means more power in theory, but don't know how much more really in practice.)I now use it weekly, and almost always on cardboard. Sometimes to break down just one box, and sometimes to break down a series. It also cuts those shipping envelopes up, and I've used it to cut down empty food boxes (like for cereal and sodas). I can't say how good the battery life is. I fully charged it in mid-June when I began using it, and I'm still on that first charge.The only real drawback I've noticed is that some thick, hard cardboard will still give the unit trouble, despite the fact that I'm using "the 75º Blade for Cutting Harder Materials." Also, some of the boxes where two layers of cardboard are glued together can slow this thing down. I really can't say what kind of wear and tear this causes, but I imagine the internal gears are plastic, so there's probably some.Some reviewers have mentioned the noise during operation, but I don't think it's an egregious amount. I'd say expecting it to be quiet is not realistic.1. Glad I bought it2. I'd buy it again3. I'd recommend this type of product to someone else4. I'd recommend this specific product to someone else

Much better than the black and decker scissors I bought before.

Bought as a surprise gift for my wife, these powered scissors has revolutionized box cutting for our house. Once the right holding angle was found, it has cut the box cutting time by something like 75%, but, no one will be watching TV in the next room!!! And, most importantly, box cutting is now a shared, nearly effortless, task. Apparently the blades last forever, as I can't find replacements on Amazon.Would definitely buy again.

I bought this mostly out of curiosity. But, it's actually a great tool. We keep it in our pantry and use it all the time. It zips through cardboard and makes breaking down boxes much easier.
