Best diy mouthguard out there.

First gum shield ive had that doesnt make me gag as soon as it goes in. Fits well and i like the design

Purchased as an upgrade from their cheaper model, though I prefer my old one. The coloured gel at the front goes very gummy and is easily misshapen if left in the hot water too long.The gel on the bottom of the guard will lock to your lower jaw when your mouth is closed which I find less comfortable, though this could be to provide extra protection.The fitting instructions are easy to follow and the guard fits well.

So I’ve had this mouth guard for 5 months. It’s my first mouth guard. Initially when moulding it, it took 3 attempts to get it right. But once it was moulded, it felt secure in my mouth during sparring. It did make me gag a bit sometimes putting it in but that’s probably just my fault for having a responsive gag reflex. However, in terms of durability of the mouth guard itself, I had to rate it down. After 5 months of fairly frequent use, I have managed to bite through it on either side, so much so that bits of plastic came off in my mouth during sparring. Not sure a mouth guard is supposed to do that really or if I have jaws of a vice. Regardless, it’s gone in the bin. I’m glad I didn’t choke on it!
