Does what it was bought for

I had this around my neck (using the included cord) for three months. One day a slight wind came up and made the silver tube make a noise like this - "Freeeeeeeep". I was terrified at first so I went to my local know-it-all who told me this is what is known as a 'Whistle'. Upon learning about this amazing piece of witchcraft, I pursed my lips around the flange and blew. Hey presto - noise. My friend Jim and I are divided about the noise it makes. I say its a sort of "Freeeeeep" or "Twiiiiip" or "Toooooop" sound, whereas Jim thinks it's more of a "Fraaarp" or "Schmeeeee" kind of sound. Why not buy one yourself and see?

Well made whistle and nice and loud. I have it on my purse in case I need to draw attention to something possibly negative/dangerous. I gave 1 to my elderly neighbor in case he falls outside so I can come help him.
