I had to paint 13 doors so this paint seemed ideal. Biggest mistake I have ever made, the one-coat took 2 to 3 coats per door and the end product was not satisfactory. I am not new to painting but I have to say this has to be the worst paint I have ever used. Only advantages being low odour and water based. Otherwise I would never buy this paint again. I am even contemplating going over the doors again with a different paint. I have used Johnstones paint in the past and always thought they were good but this one isn't.

Sad to say it was the worst paint I've ever used and it not a novice to gloss. This is so runny, so thin and patchy. 3 coats and losing the will to live. Jut glad i only done 1 side as I've now ditched it and ordered dulux . A decorator recommended this but conceded tonight he uses a mister machine..lesson learned yes low odour yes easy washed brushes but that's not going to give me glossed doors so it's a no from me

Product has a strong smell, it's leaking so you need to be extra careful, if it touches anything or drips it's very difficult to get it of. You can't wash the brushes, they need to go to spirit. I'll have white paint on my skin for a week, I think, as I can't dip myself in spirit and all of that for pretty much nothing. So happy I used other brand for kitchen cupboards, I'd literally cry if I used this one and ruined them. I've tried to repaint with this one some old pieces of furniture, and yes it's ruined. I could work with uneven coverage but nasty clumps of paint left me speechless. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

So disappointed with this Paint! I decided to try a different paint to the well known brands. Well stired i made a start. It looked like it was very streaky once applied. I thought this would improve once dried but it didn't. I have applied the 2nd coat today (with my normal brand one coat is enough) and it's still streaky!! I love decorating and have been doing so for 30+ years. I've never had such a poor outcome. I've now ordered my usual big brand paint as I know this will do the job well and in one coat.

This is cheap for a reason it's like water, leaves streaks, doesn't stick, it just gets pushed around and wether it's applied in thin layers or thickly it leaves an awful streaky finish and can still see what was underneath. Waste of money, not it all need re prepping and off to buy some proper paint from B&Q

Good paint covers well good consistency would recommend for painting doors skirting's and picture rails

Paint is very watery and you need more meterial to cover the area. I had to apply multiple coats. So overall no value for money in my case.

Didn’t give results, not sure if I had a dodgy batch but took 4 coats to cover natural wood, went on very thick and sticky feel it has ruined the finish with needing so many coats Would try other brands before this one
