Dernen Programmable Rechargeable LED Digital Scrolling Message Name Tag ID Badge (12x48 Pixels) (Green)

I bought the red ones with the image displayed saying AMAZON. They worked well with Windows 10 software that came with them. I wanted green also for holiday time and they took a very long time to get here. When I go them today (3), there was different software. Seemed to work in Win 10 but every time I send the data to the device, it goes black like it's receiving data then goes back to scrolling Welcome in English followed by an Asian group of letters. I have an XP netbook that I don't use and tried the same on it. Both act exactly the same way and they clearly see the badge and attempt to transfer data but nothing changes on the scroll. I will now initiate a return. The media could not be loaded.  The item came with no directions - either in print or on the enclosed DVD. There are over a half dozen executable and setup programs on the DVD. They are all different. One of the programs has an interface that is not even in English; and, there is no way to toggle between different languages. One of the other software programs is part English and part Chinese. There is also a driver file. I have no idea what that does. I plugged in the badge and installed, ran, and uninstalled several of the setup programs to see which one was the correct one. All of them produced an unintelligible result on the scrolling name badge. After nearly 1/2 hour of trial and error, I found a setting where you can change the pixel size of the font; and, it finally fills the screen. However, if someone is not tech savvy, they will get an entirely different result. See the attached photo and video to see for yourself. The letters go off of the top of the screen and peek in from the bottom.

Came with a mini CD, needed to go to an older comp to get it on a flash drive. Used installer from flash. Either install works, there are different interfaces. Running Windows 10 boot camp on an iMac air. I had to change the pixel numbers in options from 11 to 12. It took 5 minutes of playing with it to figure it out. Wish installer was available online, but I worked around it.

I look amezing with this tag name every body I my work ask me wear do you get that. Is easy to set up in a computer and the best thing is rechargeable I don't need batteries I save money so if you have a job that need to wear tag name I recommend this one.

This is the 2nd one I bought. Both show my name slanted and in half.
