Am a cheese lover and have studied cheese for fun. This is a book filled with loads of information about each cheese and how to pair it. But is also full of Emma Youngs wonderful character, her fun filled tone yet with refined palette fills the pages. Starting with a beautiful cheese wheel of flavours to get your taste buds working and ending with ideas for your cheese board it’s the perfect book. Having read mine I won’t be giving it away but will be ordering more as gifts for my foodie friends!! A great gift.

As a complete cheese novice I bought this book looking for a bit of guidance on how to impress my friends and family with a cheeseboard but this book offers so much more than that! I found it really easy to read, nice to pick up and put down without having to read in order and not only have I learnt about cheese and pairings, I've learnt what I'm getting all the people I was trying to impress for Christmas! (This book, in case that wasn't obvious). Love it!

I love the author's knowledge on cheese and the smattering of humour thrown is a joy. I'd not heard of most of the cheeses mentioned but that's the point, I'm here to learn stuff and this book delivers. I' was also tempted to find (go out and buy) new cheeses with every page turned.

Love this book! Really easy to read and understand for what can be an intimidating subject. Emma writes with passion and humour to help guide through the overwhelming world of cheese! Highly recommend for all cheese lovers!

First of all learning about cheese on a wheel makes the process easier and fun to get around styles of cheeses. It kind of stick to your memory and makes you remember some flavours/aromas that you forgot you knew about all along but that we do not use everyday or even think about. I like that you have some classic cheese favourites to some niche ones like Perail on page 40! And the author has some fun personal descriptions and anecdotes. I bought a few as this is a great gift for friends and family.

A favourite purchase this year. Really interesting and detailed descriptions, fantastically formatted for easily digesting and finding relevant information quickly. This book has given me the confidence to try new cheese, understand where each fits in the flavour wheel and pair with perfect accompanying drinks (alcoholic and AF) - excited to host with my new knowledge and it's definitely my go to Christmas gift this year. Definitely recommend.

Emma brings her ineffable passion to this project with such gusto! You can tell on every page she really really loves cheese.This book is an educational wonder, and I recommend it to anybody who will listen.
