I have been using watercolours, pencils etc and had no plans to go down the oil route, but I found this supplier that supplied the oils, brushes and canvases for an extremely affordable price, so I figured I would give it a go and expand my knowledge base at an affordable cost.I researched the canvas description between this supplier and others, canvas is believed to be the optimal surface, I thought that it would be great to use original surfaces, or as close as is possible these days, for their panels Daveliou use canvas primed with non -toxic gesso so they are ready to use, these are great for taking out and about and are tougher in their use than the stretched canvas, this makes them desirable in your portfolio as they don't take up a lot of space and as such they are suitable for use in many environments and with varied media, oils, acrylics, etc.it really is a case of using traditional methods, materials but in a safe and modern way, this makes them ideal for those starting out, also inspiring to be able to tell youngsters starting out that they are painting on canvas just like the old masters.Packs are made up of a generous 10 pieces of 8x10, on completion of your masterpiece you could mount them as they are, or frame them if this is your preference, they can of course be used again as well if things have not turned out as required, they take the paint really well on a firm surface, the canvas pitch is quite fine allowing control over the paint you can apply, allowing an authentic touch.They arrived quickly and well packed with the supplier giving a years guarantee, this increased my confidence to buy as it demonstrates their belief in the product, not that I would see the requirement to use this.These canvas panels are ideal for a range of users, also very cost effective which I would think would make them a great purchase for clubs, schools, running competitions, etc , currently only one size is available (10 X 8) so I hope they will add to this in time, for now though I would definitely recommend, I just need to see whether they will improve what I produce.

These seem to be good quality and great value for money. Have started using them with acrylics and the paint goes on very well. I find these boards really convenient as there is no need for priming, they provide a good solid surface but are light enough to carry around e.g. for taking to my art group. I will definitely be buying more.

Bought these for my budding Artist girlfriend! If I am very lucky I shall get another few masterpieces around the house! The pack arrived promptly and consists of 10 artist canvases ideal for small portraits of interesting objects or people. May even get a portrait of me. Ideal gift should keep me in the good books for a while. Ideal for practice on and excellent quality. Very pleased with this item.

The canvas boards arrived on time, the quality is as advertised no problems

Arrived promptly and well packaged. Have used 2 already and had very nice results. I paint with acrylics and mixed media and these canvas panels have just the right amount of tooth to achieve an interesting background texture and also grip moulding paste applied through a stencil.Excellent value and will definitely be purchasing more
