Enhance the lighting in your home with this color and tunable white dimmable smart Wi-Fi WiZ connected LED light strip. You can control the brightness from your mobile device with the WiZ app. For more convenience, this bulb is compatible with desertcart Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri Shortcuts. Review: Top Shelf RGB Lights & Platform (Wiz) - I have had three boxes of the extension strips that go with this model & I finally was able to purchase this & test them out. It works great, the RGB lights are very vivid. The Wiz platform is also very user friendly & similar to the more expensive model & platform -Philips HUE The only Con to these lights is the amount of heat they put off. Not entirely sure if this is normal or if they are just outdated. Either way, be prepared for your room to be a couple degrees hotter. Review: Love these smart strip lights - I love these smart strip lights by Phillips. The Wiz app is easy to use and has so many options. The lights can be set for shades of white, tons of colors, and several dynamic options like Party mode, fireplace, candlelight, Christmas, Halloween, or one of my favorites in the kitchen a progressive wake-up mode where the lights slowly get brighter over the course of 30 minutes. I have these strip lights above my kitchen cabinets. They were easy to install, I just dropped the plug behind the refrigerator and plugged in.

Awful adhesion
Recently got new cabinets installed, wanted to add some underlighting as before it could be difficult to get proper light when cooking, especially prep. I had previously bought some Wiz by Phillips bulbs for my living room lights. Wiz/Phillips still has the best in terms of colors & cool/warm white lights. Especially compared to govee light strips. Their cool/warm white is an absolute joke, but colors are decent and price is pretty solid, but I digress. The adhesion of these Wiz strips are god awful. Maybe it was because they are new cabinets and the underside is a little slick, but they wouldn't stay for crap. Ended up using some electrical tape and taping over the parts where you can cut it. It's a temporary fix, until I can find something better. As far as pairing goes, it was a little bit of a pain. Especially because it tells you turn the lights on and off 3-5 times fast, but with the button on and off they fade in and out. Only after I completely unplugged power and restarted the process did it work. Adhesion: 0/10 Light spectrum/colors: 9/10 Ease of install: 5/10 Wish they came with some adhesive clips or something. Corners are also very tricky.

Great strip lights
Lights are very bright and have lots of color choices. I have lots of WIZ lights throughout our house. The app is pretty easy to set up. And controlling times thru the app is great.

Nice but app + stick power issues
I already had Wiz bulb lights and knew about the upgrade to the Wiz 2.0 app. However I was not able to connect these strip lights or manually put them in pair mode. I was having an issue where the “device” (lights) would be recognized but the app wouldn’t respond to me tapping that notice to pair. After a day of chatting with support and uninstalling, reinstalling, power cycling phone, etc. they determined I had to use the Wiz original app to pair the strip lights. This meant I had to uninstall V2 as otherwise they conflict and the V1 just crashes. So I did that, paired successfully, then re-downloaded V2 and it transferred over. It seems someone forgot to build in support for strip lights to the V2 app 😑. Aside from that the lights look very nice, bright, and good quality, however as others have mentioned the sticking power is pretty weak. I may end up using a hot glue gun to permanently affix mine where I want them. Also if you have something with bends/corners look into the adapters that will allow you to cut, connect, and make clean, flat turns. I had to do a lot of bending with mine but they are not super flexible which has also contributed to why mine aren’t sticking well since the corners essentially don’t have the sticky part touching my item at all.

Wizzy Wiz Wizz Wizz Lighting - I love these and integrate with my HomeAssistant
These lights and the modern Wiz counterpart (at least up to 2023) has been nothing but impressive. Integrates with HomeAssistant, and makes lighting the house so much more managable!

Didn't work; misleading packaging
The biggest issue: this didn't work. Right out of the box; did not function with the included mechanical on/off switch Second biggest issue: this is not a philips hue brand smart light, even though it has the philips label on the box. If you were expecting to connect this to your Hue app, prepare for disappointment. It's some other app/brand. Third Issue: the tape on the back wasn't super sticky. Had issues getting it to stick to my cabinets.

Great for the price!
These lights are only in soft white, which is what I need. They set a chill ambiance to my room!

Stopped working after two weeks

I tried for close to an hour to get this LED strip to connect to the app. Had all the right flashing lights/colours etc, I even reset my router & made sure it was on the right settings. Absolutely nothing. The whole point was to have something I could have on a timer so only being able to turn it on/off manually is a no from me. Apparently this is a common problem so it's frustrating they've done nothing to fix the issue and are selling faulty products.

I thought it was battery powered, as written in the product description. Turns out it’s not, you need an outlet for it to work. Supper disappointed, it’s not what I needed at all. The information was misleading.
