Used for Linux <--> Cisco Router Connection

Works out of the box with Linux HOST 3.8.0-19-generic #29-Ubuntu SMP --- x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. Device will appear as : ID 1a86:7523 QinHeng Electronics HL-340 USB-Serial adapter from lsusb.Quality looks fine. Will do what it needs to. Cable length is good at nearly 3-4 meters combined. The male/female heads won't screw in as both are thumb screw, no nut housings. Fit is good though, so not really an issue.Device will appear as /dev/ttyUSB0 on OS described above.This is the cheapest you will find this combo anywhere, especially considering the rollover cable included. Really good purchase. Very happy. Thanks seller!
