Clay mask
I just bought it and used it today as of Oct -21,2023 and my face feels firm but soft, smooth, not greasy at all. I can tell it has the moisture in it but it doesn’t feel moist if that makes sense. My face feels like it can breathe!!! I also bought the clay drink by this same company to internally detox and I can’t wait to try that. 😃

Ok
This is easy to use and apply. Definitely dries your skin out a little bit so I would recommend for oily skin. The smell is a little off which is why I put four stars instead of five price is on point.

I'm a begginer using this
I can't tell about product quality comparing with another one because this was my first time, but I can tell about customer experience. I think it was a good idea to put an QR code for the instructions because sometimes the captions are so tiny that are hard to read. Now, that QR code doesn't take u directly to the instructions page, it takes you to their website an you have look for it, bad execution. The instructions are easy to follow but I think it would be more user friendly if you include a "common" measure instead to just mention a ratio. I did 2 tbsp but I think just 1 is enough. The other thing is I live a dry climate, the stuff started cracking like at 17min and I had a timer for 25 because I know my skin in not sensitive. So ignore that recommendation in the instructions and pay close attention to your face in the mirror. I was trying to relax and finish my coffee and read an article, I mean this is what pampering is about right?, relax. Well I didn't relax because I had to jump to wash it off and apply everything else quick so I my face wouldn't dry out badly.Again, I'm a first timer, the product does what is says BUT you need to be careful.

Pricey compared to others, but mixes well
When I ordered this small 8.8 ounce jar of bentonite clay, it was selling for $1.50 an ounce , making it 2 to 3 times the price of others sold on Amazon. Is it worth the price difference? I don’t think so. It seems like any other dry, powdered bentonite clay that I’ve used, so I’m not sure why there’s a premium charge. The price, the lack of instructions for people who haven’t used it, and the small amount in the package is why I gave it only 3 stars. As mentioned above, the jar doesn’t have any instructions at all, so in case you haven’t used it or mixed it yourself before, here’s how I do it:For normal or combination types, you can mix it with water or green tea (the tea has great antioxidants!) at a ratio of about one part clay to 2 parts liquid. Adjust that ratio if needed. You’re going for a paste that you can apply with a brush, or a slightly thicker paste if you use your hands to apply it.For oily skin, I often mix it with apple cider vinegar. In this case, I use a one-to-one ratio. For me, a tablespoon of clay a one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar is perfect. On the days my sensitive cheeks are brilliant red, I use a clay mask mixed with honey to soothe them. I do this by mixing a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of water together, then mix that with a tablespoon of clay.In all cases, once it’s mixed, apply it to your skin and let it sit for about 15 minutes before washing it off.

Pure clay!
I love that this clay doesn't have any fillers, added ingredients, or perfume. Just plain clay. Not a fan of having a code to scan for directions, that seems silly, but a good way to get people to see the other products on it's website.Anyway, I mixed the powder 1-1 with apple cider vinegar, and it mixed up great, but had a bit of a runny consistency. I used it like that, and it worked fine, leaving my skin smooth afterwards. I mixed extra, since it says to store in mixed in the fridge up to a week.A friend came over, and she tried it. It made her skin pink after she washed it off, but the color went away in a little while. I loved using it from the fridge, as it set up a bit more, was so smooth and creamy, and the cold felt great on my skin. Worked just as good a week later out of the fridge.Great stuff!

Very interesting! I like it!
I did this before a shower, so I was able to wash it off easily. I don't recommend doing this more than once per week if you have sensitive skin like me. Overall, this was a great experience.Love: no smell, very natural, easy to make paste with, QR code for instructions-- these were very helpful! Didn't break me out (I have sensitive skin)Not a fan of: after washing and drying, my face felt a little tight (which is normal for my skin type), need more supplies with this clay (bowl, water, brush to apply)

As it says on the label, it can cause itchy skin and it did for me
I was looking for a good mask and this seems like a well made product but I had to stop using it as it cause my skin to become itchy. I cannot recommend.
