Micrazym is a specially formulated pancreatic enzyme blend, in the form of enteric coated micro-pellets. The enzymes are protected from deactivation by the gastric acid, also allows easy mixing with the food, and rapid release of the enzymes in the duodenum for fast action. Is the enteric coating on the capsule or on the enzyme pallets within?

The coatings are within and are separated individual pallets in the pill. Way different from others, work faster in a separated fashion.

Are the enzymes fro animal sources? Can I remove the pellets and take seperately?

I don't know if it's from animal sources. You can open each capsule and remove the individual pellets. These were actually very helpful for me. They do work.
