Rubber spatula melts. Quality Control not great. Nice wood but can do with sanding
The rubber spatulas are utter rubbish. While I can’t blame Uulki that they melt under even low heat, but the rubber parts are so hard you can’t use them like a silicone spatula! Many silicone spatulas are rated 220C to 260C(my old one) suitable as pan turner as well as soft enough to scrape the side of a bowl clean! These melt easily as shown in photo and failed miserably as a bowl scraper because the rubber is far too rigid!As shown in photo, the tip of the tongs don’t line up too well. However I do like these wooden tongs for cooking, not seen wooden ones before. But the manufacturin tolerance could improve.As seen in photo also, one of my spoon has a tiny knot, which is broken through. This wouldn’t have been an issue for a turner but a dripping spoon is mildly annoying. Quality Control needs improving.The 2 long handle spoons are nicely turned with very smooth handles. But the spoon heads are a bit small. I wish one of them has a larger, flatter spoon head.Finally, all the flat surfaces are of a rough saw finish. It can really benefit from a touch of light sanding. A quick round of 400 grit paper should make it smooth. The contrast is the smooth round handles of the spoons, clearly a high speed lathe finished a much smoother surface than a saw. I applied a layer of olive oil to the wood and it is quite nice now.I like the sustainable idea but quality lets it down, particularly the poor choice of hard rubber for the spatula heads. I bought cheap wood utensils with smoother finish and silicone spatulas that scrapes bowl clean and can go straight to a hot pan (think scrambled eggs). This set achieves neither and leaves me disappointed.

Suitable for Use with Non Stick Pans
This was a really good set of wooden utensils which I got for using with my non-stick Tefal pans I was given as a gift. They have been good and gentle on my pans and no scratches or marks have been left on my pans at all. The utensils have lost one star though because for some reason, the fully wooden spatula started to get mould spots on it while it was in my drawer. I had not used it in a while but when I had it was washed and dried before storing it in the drawer so no idea what happened there. Be careful of splinters when you first get these - I would suggest you rub them together (like you would with wooden chopsticks) to remove the splinters. All in all though I do like this utensil set and I would recommend purchasing it. Even if one item getting some mould spots I feel that the upside is that I know the wood has not been coated in anything non-organic.

It's alright.
Looks great in the kitchen. The wood is not perfected (I would not have expected it anyway). Also, I have found out that the rubber ones do melt when exposed to heat :// love the wooden spoons, though
