Not worthwhile
Solar charger doesn't charge as well as advertised even though we live in the UAE. Summer seems to keep the battery topped up but in the winter where there is stilll reasonable sunlight it is useless.

Much Better Than Expected
After reading the reviews, I thought this device would merely keep the power loss at a lower percentage and not actually charge the doorbell. I was wrong! It works wonderfully! It has charged my doorbell to 100% a couple of times and never gets below 86% When you first install it, please keep in mind that it will not register as present or charging until it gets a good day or two of sunshine. It has a small battery on board that needs to charge before the software detects it. Also keep in mind that it is designed to promote optimal charging to between 80% and 90% (not 100%) which extends the life of the battery.

No more charging!
This has to be the most boring product that brings the most joy into my life. Never again will I have to live for half the day without my doorbell as this thing just keeps it going!One negative element is it does make the doorbell quite a bit bulkier. A small price to pay

Not recommended to buy
I bought this solar item for my ring bell end of Nov. 2023 … i installed it last week march 2024 in a place with direct sun in saudi arabia but it is not charge my ring bell battery at all 👎🏻
