A little powerhouse of a simple coffeemaker.
All I wanted was a normal, basic, full-sized, reliable coffeemaker that just had an on/off switch. No touchscreens with endless options, LEDs, and alarms. That was the main reason I bought this specific model. It arrived today. I washed it out, filled it up with water and my normal coffee ratio of 1 heaping scoop to every four cups of water.I turned it on.It started brewing IMMEDIATELY. I mean, not like I walked into the other room and heard it start brewing soon. I mean, I turned on the switch, and it immediately started brewing. I stepped away to do something else for five minutes, and when I came back, it was already done. All 12 cups of coffee. A full pot of coffee. It was also pretty quiet. No hissing or screaming. And, it tastes delicious. I mentioned my personal coffee ratio above, and anyone who knows anything about brewing coffee knows that the temperature that you brew it at makes a big difference, and, while I don't know what temperature this coffeemaker is brewing the coffee at, it's apparently the exact correct temperature for hot-brewed coffee.Anyway, this seems to be a good, solid, productive coffeemaker. No extra whistles and streamers. Just a machine that brews good coffee. 'Nuff said.

Has worked perfect
I needed a small coffee pot so figured I would try this brand, it has worked perfectly, easy to set timer and keeps coffee warm. Would buy again

Mystery Broken Pieces
Let me start off by saying the box arrived a little damaged, and I did find two broken pieces of plastic in the box. I'm not sure why, because I inspected the Dickens out of this machine and everything looks just fine... Nothing seems to be broken or chipped off anywhere, and the pieces don't seem to be broken off of anything of importance... Weird. lol I'm not sure if that was just a faux pa on the manufacturer's part. That's why I'm only giving 4 stars. I did run some water through a few times before I brewed some coffee, as the instructions indicate. No leaks! :) By the way... This machine brews a mean cup of coffee! It's delicious, and I love that I don't have to buy paper filters any longer. It comes with a basket within a basket. The basket inside the main basket is the filter. Wash, rinse and reuse -- Yes, please. lol The plastic is nice and shiny, no scratches, and the lid that closes over the coffee baskets snaps shut, which is a nice touch. It even came with a cute little black scooper (photo)! I also LOVE that I don't have to wait for the entire pot to brew before I can have a cup of coffee! If there is enough in the pot to pour a cup, I can quickly pour it, then place the pot back under to finish brewing. My old one didn't do that. I would definitely recommend this product!

DEFECTIVE HOTPLATE
While I've given this coffee maker the maximum stars for flavor and ease of cleaning and use, I'd never buy it again (nor any other Mixpresso product) nor recommend it to others, based mainly upon the hotplate (where the glass carafe rests) that either arrived defective (unnoticed) or became defective within a week or so after the coffee maker was first used, which is when I first noticed it (I purchased it in January 2020 but I didn't use it for the first time until May 2020). Unlike every other manufacturer's coffee maker I've ever used, the hotplate on this one is detached from the coffee maker, slanted and, when pressed down, it springs back. I don't think this is the way it's supposed to be and I worry it's a fire hazard. Therefore, I'm throwing it away and ordering another coffee maker from a different manufacturer altogether. Based upon this experience (my first and only with Mixpresso), I have no confidence in their products. Their customer service department offered me a free replacement of this same coffee maker but, for the reason I've already explained, I don't want another coffee maker from them, I want a refund of my purchase price, which they aren't willing to do. I just want everyone who's thinking about purchasing this coffee maker to be aware of the hotplate defect on mine. My additional complaints (although, by comparison, are minor) are: 1) the white numbers on the glass carafe indicating the cup levels are difficult to read, 2) the water level indicator is on one side of the coffee maker only, not on both sides as has always been my experience with coffee makers from other manufacturers, 3) the red off/on button looks bright red even when it's in the off position, making it necessary to be on top of the coffee maker in order to make sure the last person who used it had remembered to turn it off, 4) the coffee doesn't pour into the cup without some of it falling onto the countertop.I gave this Mixpresso coffee maker a try because every Mr. Coffee coffee maker I've used lasted only 12-18 months before its innards became so clogged (despite proper cleaning) that it stopped working altogether (plus, every hotplate peeled and rusted long before the coffee maker had become totally clogged). Even with a relatively inexpensive coffee maker, I expect it to last a lot longer than 12-18 months. So I'm finished with both Mixpresso and Mr. Coffee and now I'm going to give Gevi a try (I ordered it yesterday on Amazon's website).

nice design, heating element goes out after about a year
Likes * attractive, compact shape for 12 cup machine* bright, front facing on/off manual switch - easy to see if it is on or off* good priceDislikes* if water is left on the metal heating plate it rusts and looks bad* we've bought a number of these over the years, the heating element last about a year when using it every day, keeping it on an average of 4 hours/day. Once it stops heating the machine is useless and needs replacing. I know it is priced on the lower end but it should last a lot longer

works great for handicapped me
It was left at lobby rather than left at my 1st floor door, as I had requested (am wheelchair bound).

Buena y bonita

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Product only suitable for US market although appears on 240v searches in UKTried to return through Amazon and started getting emails to send elsewhere. Was away and then had Covid, explained this and returned product- refusing refund, they’ve obviously kept product to sell to some other poor sod!Agree with comments it’s cheap and nasty looking, but couldn’t use it as wrong voltage for UK.DO NOT TRUST FOR UK PURCHASES!!!

Highly Recommend for the Office
I bought the 5 Cup coffee maker for my office and it makes the perfect amount to fill my YETI Rambler. This is easy to use and is a decent quality for the price. The box it came in says it's a 6 cup machine, but it's not - it is 5 cups as is advertised. I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for something simple for your office in order to obtain your coffee fix!

Be careful pouring
Really nice coffee machine, the reusable filter is the main reason i bought this to be a little more eco friendly and good for budget too. The only issue is that if you pour a bit too quickly, it will pour down the coffee pot, so pour slowly. Otherwise, really good.
