Q: Do they ship with cold packs?

Hey! During the warmer months of the year, we ship all our Chocolate with cold packs in an insulated box to ensure your order doesn't melt on the way to you.

Q: How much % chocolate is in it?

The package says 70% organic house-ground Cacao.

Q: For the manufacturer: why is there a prop 65 warning for lead on this product?

Not sure. When looking at California Dept of Pyblic Health's list of candies it does not show up. Candies with high levels of lead primarily come fro Mexico, Malaysia, China and India. Most contain tamaind, chili powder or salt mined from areas that have elevated levels of lead. So i find no reason for the warning label. I guess only Californis Dept. of Public Health can answer that. My search of their web site didn't provide an answer. Worth noting that lead is generally more harmful to youngsters.

In case you haven't noticed the price of everything has gone up. Chocolate is no different. Do you have any idea what is involved in the process of getting cacoa into edible chocolate?
