Grow Bags, Fabric Planter, 5-Pack 5 Gallon Plantmate Flower Plant Hydroponic Aeration Fabric Pot Container with Handles (Black)

These 5 gallon grow bags have worked just as well as other brands. The thing I found different about these as compared to many others are that they are more shallow and wide instead of being deep and narrow. As far as performance, I found them better than the grow sun brand. They don’t let the water just flow straight through the fabric. It gives the plant a chance to soak up the water instead of it just pouring out the side when it hits some dirt.

These will suffice for some plants that do not root deeply (e.g. tomatoes) but for ones that do root deeper. I was somewhat disappointed at the depth of these pouches at only 12" I wanted these for plants with a much deeper rooting system, but having said that, the bag is strong enough to support smaller plants with the drainage being good enough as long as you place it on a surface that will allow excess water to drain.

These are okay "Smart Grow Bags", but you best plan on using kids swimming pools because they leak like crazy. I'd suggest waterproofing a boxed-in area with pond liner. You will need at least 14" plant saucers as well or a way to drain the overflow. (Plants like to be flushed anyhow, build a drain in the center, but be sure it's 100% waterproof)

Great product, as others have commented, buy the next size larger, I wanted 5 gal so I bought 7 gal., Just the right size for portability. Note plants can breath better but they do dry out quicker, use a 12" PP round plastic tray underneath to conserve water. Mid summer I have to water every two days. Can't wait to see if I can reuse another season. Enjoy

Oh man, where to begin... i ordered these at the beginning of May; finally showed up half way through July. I ordered black bags and tan ones showed up. I tried to get a return because they took so long and the shipping/tracking info they provided just came up as "pending/does not exist".Bags seems incredibly thin and are the wrong color.Do not buy unless you're looking for subpar Chinese products that take forever to ship and do not match descriptions/expectations.

These seem smaller then the size it states. I bought the 7 gallon bags and I tried placing a 5.5 gallon container in it just to see if it was bigger and container wouldn't fit. Bags are good material I just advise you to buy bigger then what you think you may need. So if you want a 5 buy 7, if 7 buy 10 gallon.

First time ever I'm using these growing bags, I have some tomatoes that I planted from seeds, I transferred to these bags, and it amazingly growing so healthy and green and beautiful, I bought the second set, but smaller since now I'm in love with results.Thanks , I highly recommend this product.

been using these for awhile now i seem to do way better growing things in soil with these over the plastic pots - they are tough and easy to wash in washing machine or use a bucket of clear water and a brush like i do
