MerrellMen's Moab 3 Mid Hiking Boot

I have had these now for a few weeks and they are comfortable, and I love the wide size. They look very nice and so far, they have held up well to some long walks. I will certainly be purchasing more Merrell men's hiking boots and shoes.

I recently purchased the Merrell Men's Moab 3 Mid Hiking Boots, and they have exceeded my expectations. These boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, with excellent cushioning and support. The traction is superb, providing stability on various terrains. I’ve worn them on several hikes already, and they’ve proven to be durable and reliable. The waterproof feature keeps my feet dry, and the breathable material ensures comfort during long hikes. Overall, these are fantastic hiking boots that combine comfort, durability, and performance. Highly recommended for any hiking enthusiast!

This boots are light weight, and fit as expected. I have wide feet, I often have to size up to get shoes that fit. I got these in 11.5 wide. They fit my foot exactly, and because my foot is not crammed up in the toe box, my feet stay a little cooler. It is important to have the boots laced properly, or your foot can slide a little.I find the footing to be solid, even on sandy south FL soil. I hiked some river trails with my child and his scout troop. I had very solid footing, and I was even able to help others, and confidently traverse everything I came across. it is a fairly powerful feeling to be that confident in your footing. I am used to sneakers, so this was a huge upgrade to me.I found these boots comfortable, but with a caveat. These are not crocks or Uggs comfortable. They don't offer a squishy soft ride. These are utility comfortable. They are form fitting to my arch, and they are designed, first and foremost for traction. If you need soft, these are not the droids you're looking for.I really appreciate the breathability, fit, traction, comfort, and over all aesthetic. These are 5 star in my book. I will probably even wear them in settings where all the features are not needed.

These boots are great for a casual hike. I'm not qualified to comment on how they would hold up on mountaineering or very long hikes, but for most people they are a great buy. I got these at a great price and I am very happy with them.Even with the padding, I would recommend using wool socks like "Fits" brand or "Smartwool" - something with at least 70% merino wool. Even in the summer you can wear them because they wick sweat away and are antimicrobial so they won't stink. Definitely a good idea if you are wearing boots for the first time or for a longer hike.Pros:- Surprisingly light weight yet also sturdy- Very comfortable and generous padding on the inside - comfortable even on first wear for 5 mile hike with hills- The grip seems to be quite good. I didn't slip even on muddy and wet rocks while others around me did.- They do seem to be waterproof up to a few inches of puddles. I didn't test them totally submerged up to the top of the boot though.Cons:- They aren't the most fashionable boots, but that makes it easier to get them muddy and not care too much.

I really need good shoes for my job and these fit and feel great. The arch support is great for my back. My only issue is the life span is not great. I don’t know if it’s the shoes or the work I do but I can’t get a year out of them before I have to replace them. If they were just for casual use like hiking I would probably give 5 stars but for the money it’s the best deal i could find and I will continue to buy them

Fit is great (Size 11) and 11 fits me great. I drive a tow truck daily. On my feet all day some days. The lugz on the soles have lasted well. I tend to rinse them off daily or wvery other day as gravel dust cakes up in them . Not the fault of these boots. We park our trucks in a liose gravel & dirt parking area. During this Texas summer, I soak myself in sweat several times daily and the inside ofnthese boots are soaked in sweat end if day. They dont stink at all. I do spray the inside with alcohol sanitizer and let them dry in the hot garage overnight. I’m anxious to order a new pair but these so far refuse to wear out. Thus this good review. I do have a second pair that I wear to church and on travel vacations etc. Any time I’ll be on my feet for a ling time. Love them!

I got these hikers for my fiancé as he needed something a little more stable for his foot bed. He tends to roll his feet outward and I know Merrell is a good brand. He tried him on right away soon as we received them and they fit perfectly. There were plenty wide enough, great arch support. Equality is very good. The firmness or stiffness of the shoe is appropriate and keeps him from rolling his ankle over on uneven services, especially. He only had them a couple weeks and worn them a half dozen times because he doesn’t want to get them dirty… he says They are too nice to wear while he’s working or getting things done or walking and he doesn’t want to get them all messed up. I told him that’s exactly what these are for and you should be comfortable while you do them either way he really does like them a lot and it’s a style that’s out of his normal realm. I was real happy that worked out.

Great trail shoe. Lite weight, durable, amazing comfort.
