I didn’t baby these, I just put down rich soil, patted it gently, sprinkled the seeds, covered with soil, patted gently, and let the spring rain do its thing. The germination rate so far (I planted a couple of weeks ago, the second week of April) is about 70% at this time (pretty good!) and the sprouts look very healthy. I expect more will germinate as the weather gets warmer as not all plants are on the same time schedule.I’m excited to see what comes up!

I would not buy these they do not sprout. We cultivated them correctly and not one flower.

I planted all over outside and in. Only sprouts were in ideal soil in a pot indoors, but looks like grass with no flowers. Better luck to you.

I really didn’t expect this from an Amazon package. I want to spread it all over the backyard.

We are still a few months away from planting season but I'm looking forward to putting these in the ground. I have several areas at the lake cabin I plan on landscaping this year and these seeds are part of that plan. I plan to do a fairly large area around our flag pole and another area out at the start of the driveway where we have a hanging decorative sign with our fire number and name on it.They say these seeds and subsequent flowers are deer resistant. Well this will be put to the test this summer. We have three acres and most of it is mowed and the deer love to graze on our lawn during the spring and summer. I can sit in the living room in the morning drinking coffee looking out the patio sliding glass door and count up to twenty deer grazing at a single time. We have bucket vegetable garden and they have yet to bother that but we keep that right next to the house. These seeds will be planted to where the deer will certainly check them out. So we will find out if the deer will like them for a snack or not and I will report back on this.Other than that these seeds come nicely packaged with good instructions and tips on the back. These will be more than I need but I can find more areas to plant them I'm sure. If all goes well these should be a beautiful addition to our landscape and the hummingbirds and butterflies should enjoy them as well. At the price point you are getting a great value here.
