I bought a set of these years ago at Costco, and recently the last of them fell to pieces. The ONE downside to my other set was that they were very slippery when wet, and each of them died a fast death in my sink when they rudely fell out of my soapy hands onto some other dishes. So, so sad, because both I and my erstwhile spouse absolutely loved them. Why? For one, they are big, and goodness knows we're Americans, and need mass quantities of food! But seriously, these are a great size. You can mix different foods types (like veggies, meats, starches, and sauce), pop it in the microwave, and have an instant well-balanced meal in one bowl! They ARE microwave safe, and do really well in there. Plus, the shape is cool, they next nicely into one another, and their smooth surface is pretty tough (when they're not being dropped rudely in the sink), and way easy to clean. Which leads to the best (other) thing about this set. The outside has that ribbed, waffle pattern, which makes it easier to hold onto in the sink! And the inside is still smooth as glass, retaining that easy-to-cleanness that we loved. Well worth the money, and YEAH "What a Dish"!!!

My wife and had one of these when we got married. ( Though neither of us knew where it came from.) we like to host little impromptu get togethers and these are the perfect size for a large salad, a bowl of ramen or pho. Also a good size for side dishes like a pilaf or risotto.

Ordered these to add to a set of the plain white I already have. My family lives these bowls for hearty portions of soups, Chili, pasta, etc. Great quality that holds up to daily use. Size and shape perfect for many different meals.

I was gifted these and the. My son loved them so much I gifted some to him. These are perfect for serving, eating salads and pasta or microwaving things as they don’t get to hot, fantastic bowls!!

this is a wonderful set and would have given it 5 stars but one of the bowls was shattered - the package was very poor

They work great as a pet dish. They clean up easy, dont take up a ton of space in the dishwasher, and I dont have to worry about toxins from metal or poorly made ceramic dishes.

I love these bowls for both serving dishes on the table and for individual large salads or Asian food. They are a great size and sturdy. I only broke one of the set because I knocked it on to the tile floor. Oops! We use them several times a week and we are very happy with our purchase.

Love them, not too big or too small as serving dish. Delivered promptly and well packaged. I am looking forward to use them this coming Christmas dinner.
