All the candles are used and refurbished. The moment I put in water, all the white powders start peeling off and brown surface start appearing.

DON'T BUY IT, save your time money and sanity by Not buying it.

I installed the candles (very easy to install), BUT they didn't filter water at all. Tried to soak it for hours, scrubbing them, then installed them again. Didn't work. Boiled them. Didn't work. Boiled them again. You see where this is going.I'm actually extremely tired of trying again and again. And of not having a functioning filter for clean water to drink.An absolute waste of money. Worse is that the return/exchange window closed during all this hassle.Too much time wasted in trying to make it work!And I have extra 3 useless candles lying around for no reason out of the 6.
