Great bit of kit for easy griddle cooking. Very easy to clean.

It is growing on me.
I am getting better at using it but had problems cleaning it at first. I have changed the oil I use (do not use olive oil use bog standard vegetable oil) and am moving stuff about on the surface more so I can clean as I go. It cooks brilliantly. No problems lighting it on windy days or peppers falling off your kebab. It also heats up very fast so cooking is not a long job at all. Last time I used it the cleaning was much easier so it perhaps deserves five stars it was me that deserved four. I just need it to stop raining so I can try it again!

The purchase was complicated by the fact that the shipper lost it, which in no way was the fault of the supplier. I remain confused by the fact that the product as delivered had a different brand name to the one here. But it looks identical to the picture. All worked well and the gas fired up OK after a bit of fiddling but that could have been the gas bottle. I was a bit surprised that the gas connector was a jubilee clip as opposed to a continental style spanner connector but perhaps that is the usual thing in the UK. The plate heats up quickly and gets to a proper temperature quickly. The only concern is that the plate surface seems after a few usages seems to be losing a bit of the surface - I will have to keep an eye on that.

Goodbye BBQ. Hello Plancha Grilling. No more messing around. Cook virtually anything you like simply. Only 2 - 3 minutes heat up time too. Excellent device.

Better than a gas barbecue
I'm really glad I purchased this as it is very efficient and much less trouble than a barbecue. No flames to put out or noxious fumes to deal with.I've dropped a star because it would be really helpful if there were cooking tips and perhaps a few recipes included. Trial and error is fine but a user booklet would be a real bonus.
