RIEDEL Veritas Riesling/Zinfandel Set of 2

Really elegant design and extremely well packed

These are not good. I previously had the Riedel Grand Cru Riesling/Zinfandel which are much better, particularly for regular daily use. The Veritas range is too tall and too thin such that it is unstable and too easily gets knocked over and breaks which at £25 a throw becomes a problem. Riedel says: "The result is Veritas, a range of glasses that are 15% taller than Vinum and 25% lighter, while still being dishwasher safe, break resistant and suitable for everyday use", but no, 15% taller means they don't fit in the dishwasher and 25% lighter particularly combined with a taller glass means they tip over! Riedel was trying too hard with these ones... avoid.

No issues so far, they are fragile but I like thin glass so it's worth it! Just have to be cautious when washing but otherwise exactly how I expected them to be.

Beautiful glasses. I purchased the Riesling/Zin varietal. Very light, thin rim. Truly accentuates the wine and makes for an overall great experience tasting or drinking wine.
